Thanks Jim, I'm down the road here in Tucson. Does the 70% on the windshield affect night vision at all? On my TDI I opted for an "eyebrow" instead as I was afraid any tint in my line of vision would reduce night vision.
You are the first non-Raptor owner to report in this thread, unless @kyarnelli in post #36 does not have a RR, (his sig doesn't say). As far as I can tell the common thread was Raptors till today.
Thanks for the helpful info. As far as tint, at least here in the desert it seems that all the dealers add tint film as part of their dealer prep and I've seen charges anywhere from $500 to $2,000.
I ordered a 2025 Ranger XLT 2.7 301A, Fx4 and advanced towing and technology package. My build...
So in 50 years of driving I have never bought or ordered a new vehicle (except for work vans for my business from a commercial dealer). Even though I ordered from the GM of our local dealership who is the brother of one of my fishing buddies I need to know what to expect on delivery. I already...
I was told that my 2025 2.7 XLT 4x4 build would result in a 1500 lb payload but I'm not sure how they know that, or if they just guessed and it will end up lower. Have you taken delivery yet?
Does an anti sway hitch even work with the factory sway control? I've heard of people having issues when they try and use an anti sway attachment on the hitch reporting that the two conflict with each other.
edit: I just did a little research and found reports of conflicts and non conflicts...
That's great info, thanks. There is a good independent installer here who is an authorized Audio Control dealer, I'll talk to him. He put a nice system together in my Superduty.
I wish there was an option to get the B&O on the XLT trim
I also like the bigger instrument cluster on the Lariat.
But I don't want leather and I don't particularly want 18" wheels. sigh.
I had a Blaupunkt powered sub in another car but it was connected to line level. It worked good for some songs and for some volume levels but there were times when I would have liked to adjust it for different music and different volumes but it didn't have a remote. Later I used it in my Jeep...
You can just leave the tailgate open. You could also remove the tailgate and let the extra 5" hang over. I read a review somewhere where they said it hangs ove about even with the bumper.
Now why'd you have to bring common sense into the picture John LOL!
I'm just killing time waiting for my late September build to happen and looking at a lot of ideas. We have a small motorhome but sometimes I take short trips by myself and with my F350 I would sleep in the camper shell, but...
In my research looking for sleeping/camping options for the Ranger I came across the Aliner Switchback. Only 375 lbs and 30 seconds to deploy. https://aliner.com/switchback/
Looks good! I'm planning on an A.R.E. as well, I just need to make up my mind on which widows to get and if I want cab high or higher.
Anyone try one of these https://offroadtents.com/products/softopper-camper-top-tent-truck-camper-shell-tent-extension?variant=43873109672156 for sleeping in the...
Somehow I missed that bracket when I was researching how to install an ARB on my US built 2025 Ranger. I did watch an Australian You Tube that looked pretty complicated compared to this. Looks like with the bracket you only need to remove the wheel liner?
I wonder if the bracket will work for...
I ordered my 2025 with the factory bed liner. I still have over a month before my build is scheduled to make changes and I am having second thoughts about the bed liner. I am planning on a fiberglass Leer or A.R.E. topper and thinking I might get a rubber mat for the floor or a Bedrug that...
