Nice write up. I presently have a Wolfbox in my Jeep and I really like the ability to scroll the rear image downwards to see what's directly behind me, but my camera is mounted inside the rear window so it can't see past the spare tire. Wolfbox does reply to questions and I am thinking about...
I agree on doing your own work instead of trusting it to monkeys. Sometimes you can find real pros but it's a crap shoot.
Does your parking mode have a time out? I see where the hybrid parking mode requires a HK6 hardwire kit.
I haven't decided on a cam for my Ranger yet but I have a Wolfbox in...
I have the exact same issue with running boards which is why I ordered my XLT without them, not sure if that's an option for you on a Raptor though. My Jeep was the same way, the PO installed running boards making entry and exit a PITA till I removed them. The only trucks I use running boards on...
I thought about that too but at 80 MPH how much is a fan going to matter? Unless it's the shutters you are thinking about? I never had a vehicle with shutters before so that part is still kind of mysterious to me.
Seems strange. No chance the oil temps could have been related to gradual grades and just a coincidence? I like to monitor elevation which tells me if I am climbing, descending or level. Sometimes you can't tell. Did you happen to notice if there were any gear/RPM changes?
External/ambient...
Ok so it looks like I won't really be gaining anything over my old truck with my Pioneer head unit and Android Auto, except a bigger touch screen. I've been using Satellite radio over antenna in 2 cars but will cancel that on one car when I sell it leaving it on my wife's car only, however the...
Since this will be my first vehicle ever with a modem that I can connect to my cell service provider (for a fee) I'm assuming I will be able to make and receive calls without even having my phone with me? I'm also assuming I will be able to stream Pandora, Spotify, Soma FM, Sirius and others...
Good tips, I realize that it is only a graphic but shouldn't the truck be closer to/hugging the lane divider stripes on it's left as it is approaching the turn to allow more room to make the turn? I often have to do that in my 21 foot long Superduty when turning onto a narrow street we have...
AE used to be the go to before Forscan showed up on the scene. I have an older version with the Ford bundle that worked great on my 7.3 diesel and I'm wondering if I should update it. Does anyone know if AE has more capabilities than Forscan for the Ranger? It quite pricey compared to Forscan.
I started using one of these in certain situations, like hotel parking lots: It's a bit more of a pain to put on than the Club but not as much of a pain as finding your truck gone in the morning.

In the US headlight lenses are designed to cast the light slightly off to the right to avoid blinding oncoming traffic, not sure on the high beams. Is it on low, high or both where you notice it? Maybe you just didn't notice it on other vehicles you've had because the headlights were not as bright?
I just found this thread, I was wondering about folding the seats down with the the headrests, that doesn't normally work well on any vehicle and my truck hasn't arrived yet so I couldn't check. This is a good solution and one I can definitely use as with no kids we will be folding the back seat...
