Hi Mike,
I think you have nailed the love hate relationship to having running boards. My truck came with the running boards and yes, I want them even though I rarely use them. My use is for the wife unit, elderly parents and children to step in. Solution??? Maybe some of the power ones. ???? I...
Don't know the tech behind the mod for switching out mirrors, but I do like the zone lighting (puddle lights), camera and especially the folding mirrors when I park in the two-car tight garage with my Lariat. I clipped the mirrors plenty of times on my GMC Yukon parking at night especially. That...
20 mpg in town in ECO with a topper installed and several hundred pounds of window samples in the back. Have over 24 mpg on highway with minimal load. Love the 2.7L, its zippy.
The main difference between the 2023 and 2024 Ford Ranger bed is that the 2024 model only comes with a five-foot bed option, while the 2023 model offered both five and six-foot bed choices; however, some minor dimensional differences may exist between the two, with the 2024 bed being slightly...

The 2024 Ford Ranger 2.7 L EcoBoost V6 engine uses both port and direct fuel injection.

FYI if interested in quality of fuel can make a difference in the longevity (lack of) of valve carbon build up. I geeked out and posted the following link that the “type” of gas makes a difference in keeping the engine clean.

I'm in the window biz and the LowE coats that make the glass energy efficient, does "reflect heat" and yes, I've seen vinyl siding deform from reflecting the sun acting like a magnifying effect. The LowE coat is multiple layers and very simplistic definition it is a "silver oxide", spray enough...
Had appointment on Monday for recall.
1st part of recall was for inspection, then if needed upper control arm to be replace if needed.
Mine turned out to be just an inspection and was on my way - no repairs!
Between 20 and 25 MPG, depending on how many trips to the hills and my right foot always seems to be heavier than my left. I’m within one MPG hand calculation as well as trip computer. It’s close most of the time.
Just put topper on and not sure yet how it will respond to the extra weight...
I test drove the Toyota, Nissan and GMC/Chevy. Quickly ruled out Nissan. I liked the Toyota, but my second choice would have been the GMC/Chevy. It was comfortable and capable. Agreeable on the resale value comment as the Toyota’s are everywhere.
Even though the 2024 Ford Ranger was/is...
I ordered the polished with Adaptive cut out to help match the chrome package, but there is a black one too w/o cut out from Putco/Real truck to cover the hole.
I'm concerned with protecting the intercooler from all the sand they put on the roads in the winter...and add some bling...
I did the 4D. Agree with the other Stuart on getting some help when needed.
Observation and opinion only....the 4D was simple as the glove box is a couple of tabs and one does not have to pull console or trim off – less room for clip damage and a future rattle in my mind.
Was the push tab...
