I turned off the auto brights because it was so distracting, and haven't felt the need to turn it back on.
As I understand it, you have the option of opting out of the connected features, but then a bunch of the stuff that makes the tech package worthwhile doesn't work.
You mean the key fob? I have the switchblade key that you put in the ignition, not the one you can just leave in your pocket, so the truck has no idea the key is in it.
If you get it after delivery, tell the parts guys that you don't want them to stick it on, then you can put it anywhere you want.
I confirmed it'll fit on the 2024 fuel door out of curiosity, but I use it all the time, so having it on the fuel door would be a PITA.
Yep, it's a physical keypad that is stuck to the door that allows you to lock and unlock with just the code. 100% worth getting, I won't buy a Ford without it and use it everyday. Often it's just going out to the truck to grab something, and I don't have to bother finding the key to get into it...
Have to connect via bluetooth first, the truck walks you through the process with voice and screen prompts.
Then you have the choice of just regular bluetooth connection with the truck, or using Android Auto.
Keyless entry is a separate option you have to choose.
