Had a few trips off roading Saturday and Sunday.. must say I LOVE driving it in Baja mode!
Did some slow crawling and bashed up my underbody abit so it got its personality marks all done up.
and Sunday did a lake run and while driving up to the lake, it pushed 80mph on some parts in Baja mode...
Few more pics after driving it 60 miles today. All on road so no fear of damage. But just wanted to show how it looks underneath.
If it holds up great, if not, I will get the pipes powder coated or get some actual tips welded on
The driver side pipe is super easy to remove, so I pulled the whole pipe down and out.
The passenger side I removed the 10mm bolt at the hanger and I wedged a screwdriver to hold the pipe far enough down to paint the top.
Honestly to paint both sides took less then an hour and that’s allowing...
So I bought some ceramic exhaust paint. I forgot the brand already but I got it through Amazon. I got a single can. I had enough for both sides and even went further back pretty much till the axle to cover the ugly metal color they came with factory.
They say it won’t flake or fade. Guess time...
I have been pretty busy traveling and Mother’s Day was extremely busy for me so I hope to go off roading sometime soon!
I definitely bought this truck to use it in the dirt! Lol
And as of what I had before, I had a 2009 Ranger that I modified and spent a grip to make it long travel and had it...
Well I purchased my Raptor on the 1st of May and my dealer says the rebate doesnt apply to mine. I ordered mine the day the order banks opened up too. It was like June 7th I believe when I ordered mine. I dont know who to contact to fight it
Same, I took a LA trip and averaged about 17.5 mpg at around 80-85mph most of the way.
Here around town since my commute is mostly down the freeway to work, im at 17.8ish
I had these on my old Ranger. And I kept them knowing I bought this Raptor. They used to be the silver face and I powdercoated them gloss black.
Kept the factory BFG. Just swapped wheels
They are +25 offset so they fit pretty flush now which I love.
it looks so much better in person then the...
Here was their response.
Gday Pete
Unfortunately we can not guarantee figment if it’s US Built
all Ranger Raptors we have supplied for world wide are built in Thailand
Don’t forget the overseas Raptors don’t come with Grille Shudders and from those videos they appear to have a lot more room cause of it.
The US Built ones have shudders behind the grill which take up room.
Fitment will be a bit tighter.
Any idea if those are just for the Australian trucks tho? Those aren’t live valve shocks it seems from those pictures..
if they fit our trucks, I’m totally ordering those
Ok, so where is this purchased from?
I feel like, imo, the upper spacer would work best cause it would keep the shock in stock position and not compress the spring more like the perch collars would.
I feel like a 1 to 1.5” lift would keep the suspension feeling as close to stock as possible and...
Does anyone have this rebate offer on paper? Like a link or something showing it?
I can’t find it anywhere
My dealer said it didn’t apply to my Raptor and I ordered mine as the order banks opened up!
Any help?
I took my first trip with my Raptor to LA. Averaged about 16.9 mpg in 285 miles.
the seats feel abit more stiffer then my 21 but they where cloth, these being leather and my first ever leather seats, maybe that’s why I wasn’t 100 impressed.
But overall I’m finding things to find that I don’t...
