I'm 436mi from MAP and sticker is showing Convoy. A nearby dealer had a delivery already that was by Rail. I wonder if the Convoy planning is prioritizing short routes (to clear the lots faster) before further destinations?
I just found evidence of a Ranger Raptor being delivered in central NY. It's the first I have seen. At least from using the window sticker to plug into the Status Tracker which says the vehicle was already delivered. Checking with the dealer they said it has already been sold but stays on their...
Seems we are not the only ones waiting for our Ford Trucks. F150s are also piled up on hold. Not sure why the embedded video isn't working but the link works.
I found Chat to no longer be useful today. When asked about status on my 2/9 production Raptor today., was told that there is no new information since 2/9 and ship date is still showing 2/11-2/13. Unless it was put on a barge heading toward the Erie Canal, I'll assume that didn't happen.
Almost every function is now software controlled. So even Ford could decide to charge to enable them. BMW does try and push the boundaries on that kind of stuff. They tried to charge an annual fee for CarPlay initially in 2019 but they backtracked after a few month of owner complaints.
I agree, CarPlay and Waze is my default Nav. The only advantage for me to using the integrated BMW Nav vs Waze is the way the integrated Nav uses the heads up display and the gauge display. Without heads up display on the Raptor negates that. In every other way Waze is better and more up to date.
All mfg have realized there is a lot money to made in subscription services. My BMW has a bundled subscription (after the free period ends) that includes map updates, integrated google type search, remote data (phone app data and control), etc. for $120/year.
Did anyone else notice that Andre's knees were close to touching the dash in the Nissan but were maybe 3in back on the Ranger. And rear passenger knees were touching the driver seat in the Nissan and not touching in the Ranger. However claimed the Nissan had more rear leg room. My eyes were...
Both my vehicles auto HB only activate above 20 or 30mph but I can still manually turn on, and flash, HB with the stalk. I use the manual override often so not having it on the stalk would be very close to a dealbreaker for me.
Isn't that only for the Auto-Highbeam control? I thought they all still have the ability to override for manual high beams, and flash for GTFOMW, with the turn signal stalk.
