@superj , do these bolts look right? M6x16 (16.9oz water for reference) they seem small to me, but I also haven't see the running board bolts out of the truck either.
Also, now your video has me curious. For those of us without Signals on our mirrors, it appears that you can buy just the signal and swap out the plastic. I wonder, since I have power folding and blind spot, wonder if signal wire is in there too.
My bolts come today. But I more than likely will not have any time to install until the weekend after next.
Where did you have the alignment issue exactly? Was it on the brace of the step not lining up with mounting points?
I did get my delivery today! The steps look and feel as the same quality others are describing, all in one piece, packed well, no issues with the trim pieces either.
None of the dealers in my area (and in FL according to one parts dept) has the running board bolts in stock. I find it CRAZY. 2019-2023 are a different size and thread. I had to order some class 10.9 flange bolts online.
Oh hell yes. I'm not one to wait. However, I am following the OP (@superj )Step by step. Also picking up the extra bolts needed now before arrival. I can't promise pictures and a guide, but I can confirm my own headaches once installed.
I just ordered one for my XLT, can't wait until it gets here! Same setup as for the rail. Also, they just dropped the 25 maverick and I ordered one for my wife's mav.
That sucks man. I broke the drivers side on my 2019 lariat with BLIS, it was 1 year into the new models. That piece cost me $400+. As @ShadowDragon24 shows on the shop manual, the mirror piece does pop off.
What did you want to see, i can take more pictures for you with the cover removed if needed:

Yep, I have been following those threads on sealing things up. I dont have a need for full waterproofing, just trying to mitigate a little. On my 19, my Trifecta top was the same, bad seal at the tailgate.
This is for the other DIYers, and others that have completely taken over their wife/gf's cricut machines 😂.
Had some patience while messing around with some vector files and converting over to Cricut Design Space, after a lot of test fitting with cardstock, and re designing, and repeating a few...
