a mobile tech came out today and looked it over and drove it. he experienced the same and basically, said itās normal. his opinion is, at lighter throttle inputs it āskip shiftsā and tries to skip over 2nd to the next higher gear. ?āāļø
having similar issues looked at next week on my Lariat. hood, assy foam. trans shifting, and panel gaps. dealer is sending a mobile tech on mon with a backup appt set a few days later.
Good looking truck. my first choice was an RR, but was hard to find. Test drove the Lariat and took it home same day. Happy with the features and how it drives.
similar with mine. reads 5 deg warmer than ambient temp. wondering if the pcm uses that data for engine performance.
on my last truck (chevy) it could be recalibrated with my scanner.
in the lariat with 1k miles, iām getting 20.3 with about 50/50 city/highway. stock wheels and switching between norm/sport modes. i have a heavy foot and surprised it isnāt lower.
Mine didnāt have RBās installed, but decided on these tyger rider ones. Lightweight and has a textured powder-coat finish similar to bed liner. $179 on Amazon.
I have a new 24 Lariat and it shifts smoothly from 3rd & up, however, accelerating from a stop it has what seems like occasional hesitation from 1st through 2nd. I notice this in sport or norm modes.
iām new to these trucks and wondering if this is what others are experiencing or should i have...
