I have an XLT and have the same issue. Reading all of the posts here I see we are out of luck getting a classic style round speedo, too bad Ford didn't let us have that option. I'm ok with computers, I just don't like all the digital stuff in a vehicle.
I think this is being way over thought. While an adjustible hitch is ideal for many situations, I trailered at different times, my T-bucket roadster and a Toyota Camry with a 4" drop for hundreds of miles without issue.
On level ground, measure the distance from the ground to the top of the inside of your hitch receiver and subtract it from the distance from the ground to the bottom of the trailer coupler. That gives you the drop. I put a level on the trailer to get the correct height. On my XLT, the...
Not true every car has issues, I've bought many new vehicles and the only vehicle I ever had problems with was a Chevy truck that I had to lemon law in 2019. My Ram truck was good but it was time for a new vehicle and I thought I'd buy a Ford since I've never owned one. Thank you for your...
Started my 2.3 XLT last week and watched all the systems failing on the screen. When they were done being listed I shut the engine off, restarted and it was ok. Just got home from a weeks vacation, unlocked the truck this morning and none of the lights came on. I want my Ram truck back that I...
Last night I started my truck and every system said there was an error including ABS brakes. I shut it off, let it sit a minute then restarted and it didn't give the errors. The most annoying thing to me is the backup camera. If it's raining or has dew on the camera, you can forget about...
I recently bought my Ranger because Chrysler didn't care enough to answer a registered letter I mailed them. Tranny trouble 1 mile before warranty was up and dealer wouldn't fix under warranty.
As long as the truck's under warranty I'm using original equipment filters. Manufacturer will look for any excuse to not repair or replace something if they can find a reason. I just went through this with my Ram truck which is why I now drive a Ford.
Buyer Beware!!! I ordered a Coverking dash mat from RealTruck and it does not fit my XLT. Mat is too short side to side, holes for A/C vents in wrong place and has a drop-down flap for a glove box that is not needed. The RealTruck & Coverking site both say it fits the 2024 XLT however the...
I went with their Truxedo roll-up cover on my XLT. Only thing I don't like about it are the rear clamps are too long. When you roll the cover up, the straps on the bottom of the cover hang up on the clamps. I had the same brand cover on my Ram truck and didn't have this problem.
