I have an XLT and have the same issue. Reading all of the posts here I see we are out of luck getting a classic style round speedo, too bad Ford didn't let us have that option. I'm ok with computers, I just don't like all the digital stuff in a vehicle.

Do you disengage the start/stop feature when you first start the motor? If you're not, then do it and see if you still get the lurch.

My 2024 XLT looks like yours in the first picture. I agree, it does look incomplete just like the top end of the motor with no cover.

I recently bought my Ranger because Chrysler didn't care enough to answer a registered letter I mailed them. Tranny trouble 1 mile before warranty was up and dealer wouldn't fix under warranty.

As long as the truck's under warranty I'm using original equipment filters. Manufacturer will look for any excuse to not repair or replace something if they can find a reason. I just went through this with my Ram truck which is why I now drive a Ford.

I took mine in this morning and they kept the truck less than 2 hours.

My truck didn't come with a tray which I thought was odd.

I went with their Truxedo roll-up cover on my XLT. Only thing I don't like about it are the rear clamps are too long. When you roll the cover up, the straps on the bottom of the cover hang up on the clamps. I had the same brand cover on my Ram truck and didn't have this problem.

Mine is the same way, have to really slam it.

Just my opinion but for the money these trucks cost, I would not accept a repainted vehicle.
