I have x2 Garmin Mini 2 (one front and one rear) - I don't like bulky dash cam with screens. Our Rangers here in AUS have a USB port in the rear view mirror housing which we can use to power a front dash cam. So I just got a second Garmin Mini and put it on the rear window. I power that one...
Good plan. I would be worried that if it isn't an air/vacuum leak then it could be early signs of turbo failure. Either way, that sound isn't good and does not sound like a 'loud turbo' to me - that's not the good kind of turbo noise that we want to hear!
Crazy that the dealer didn't even try...
Sounds like an air or vacuum leak?? Does the sound happen at a particular RPM or is it more throttle position?
I would try taking it to another dealer, or show these videos to a reputable mechanic and see what they say?
- Edit: rewatched video 3 and it looks like the sound happens around 2,000...
No - there would need to be major software integration to show the camera feed on one of the screens when signaling - also the side camera point down and not really to the blind spot so not sure how useful it will be as the side cameras aren’t position for blind spot viewing, they’re positioned...
I’ve had zero issues with CarPlay since the car has had a few OTA updates about a month or so ago. Been rock solid ever since. Im also on the latest iOS update
I would assume all glass manufactures need to produce the glass to a certain minimum safety standard - almost all car models are global nowdays, so I would also think the glass will need to be as strong as needed to statisfy all markets around the world
I'm almost certain car height and front...
Ford doesn't make the glass - Ford (along with almost all other car makes) uses either Saint-Gobain glass or FUYAO. You can check yours by looking at the lower left corner of your side windows and windscreen - there should be a manufactures label there
So there shouldn't be any difference in...
Nope! It seems only Tesla does this for now
It’s crazy but I really wished car manufactures started to utilise these cameras for dashcams. It just makes sense. All they need to add is an SD card slot in the console or glove box and add a toggle in the menu to option recording or not
Do you have the overhead AUX switches?
If so, AUX switch 3 and 4 are pre-wired to the rear of the bed, you could just power the LEDs from one of those and then control with the AUX switch in the cab
Not meant to be mean, just the truth. A few users on the reddit sub admitted to receiving their organiser for free from Muslogy and in return they had to post about it here and on reddit
the mods on the reddit sub have been removing these posts as spam as a result
Oh look! Another day, another exact same console tray organizer post! Even if I did want one of these, I'm not buying it purely out of spite for all these damn posts all over reddit and here
