That turned out really cool. I was wondering how much work would be involved in fitting one of these. It’s definitely a shame it isn’t built for the North American trucks. Hopefully Dobinson’s will take your Experience and suggestions under advisement.
It is frustrating Ford had to change the...
Let’s not be disingenuous here. Apples to apples, XL to XL with comparable packages is about a $15k swing between the Ranger and F250. If you go up in trim levels that spread widens dramatically.
Nothing official yet. At least as far as I can find. I would imagine something will come out soon though. Ford is already launching 2027 models for some of the other lines. Ranger always seems to be on the back burner though.
I mean, at least that's something...right? 🤷‍♂️
The Ranger definitely does NOT seem to be a priority for ARB USA. Even though it's the number one truck in Australia and the UK and they have a million accessories already developed, most of which would fit the trucks here, and they keep showing...
I couldn’t agree more. The 2.7 makes way more sense for the US market. Better acceleration, similar torque, no DEF etc.
If/when we see this truck here that’s how I’m hoping it’s equipped. Slotted somewhere between an XLT and the Lariat pricewise. And hopefully with a push button start. So...
And if it fits the 2.3, does the 2.7 use a different tank? 🤔
Edit: seems both use the same MB3Z-9002-J Fuel Tank Assembly. At least according to fordpartsgiant.com. Oh the possibilities…
The fact they now have a poly tank for the 2.3 is pretty fascinating. Albeit for the hybrid, but I’m pretty sure it’s the same 2.3 MPC motor we get in North America.
