  1. What did you do to your Ranger Raptor Today?

Had my shocks rebuilt by TSW Offroad. Truck has just over 50k miles, mostly just highway miles, but with some good off-roading mixed in. Seals on the shocks were starting to make a lot of noise, so I figured it was time. 3 of the shocks had noticeable nitrogen mixing with oil. Also they...
  2. How to empty Ford Performance Catch Cans in a Ranger Raptor?

I'd probably remove whichever hose is easiest and use a big syringe with a flexible hose to suck the oil out.
  3. New Product - Ford Ranger & Ranger Raptor 10" Tall Bed Rack RAIL System (American Adventure Lab)

I talked a big game about wanting a tall rack so I could still roll the tonneau and have a way to carry a bunch of bikes on top of the bed. Its a pretty rare occurance that I need to carry a bunch of bikes and have the bed full of stuff, so in the interest of keeping the solution cost down...
  4. New fun problem! Automatically switching drive modes

Mine has started doing this recently. About 3 times in last month. First time I thought maybe I bumped the dial. Next couple of times I definitely didn't. Puts the truck into Baja mode before I have a chance to do anything.
  5. Would you do it again?

Brother, seek help, you have a problem. 😂
  6. PSA: Bed rail caps on '26 are thinner than '25... Tonneau covers will NOT fit

Ford really wants the aftermarket to work for it. Didn't the 25 also have a slightly different rail cap vs the 24?
  7. Bolt down topper?

Yes you'll want to bolt through the shims at the bed rail attachment points. Either by drilling existing shims or there's some companies selling shims with holes drilled. I'm surprised toppers aren't being designed to remove the plastic bedrail entirely.
  8. Gas filler door opens at 90+ mph

I've had mine up around 105 and the cap didn't come open. Doesn't the cap lock when the truck is locked? Truck should "lock" when vehicle is in motion. Maybe its not locking?
  9. When should I expect to need to service the Fox shocks?

Does Fox have some kind of certified vendor network for servicing the shocks?
  10. Two Phone Solution?

You would have to open the truck's phone list and select the 2nd phone to make it active. I don't think its possible to have 2 phones "active" at the same time for seamlessly taking calls from both. As far as which phone it defaults to, it should be the last active phone, unless it doesn't...
  11. KO3 tires tested by Tire Rack off-road + My Experiences

I have 40k on my OEM K03, about 9/32 tread left. They're fine in the wet. Not great, not terrible.
  12. Corrosion warranty???

Yeah I have a few spots on hte bottom of my truck that look like that. I'm certain it came from dragging the bottom on a gravel trail a few times or sandblasting the bottom driving offroad at speed. Not something I would expect Ford to cover.
  13. Tailgate lowered, pushes into license plate

The license plate just screws directly into the plastic of the rear bumper, there's no specific mounting holes. I'm guessing your dealership installed the license plate too high. On my truck the screws don't touch the tailgate.
  14. How many miles of your Ranger 2024!?

Picked it up in April 2024 and just rolled over 40,000.
  15. Tire Pressure Monitors Are Junk

The warning for low pressure is going to be a delta from the pressure they were calibrated at. If they’re giving you a low pressure warning at the same pressure, the tires were at different pressures when they were calibrated. What’s the recommended cold pressure for your truck?
  16. Let's talk Bed Racks for Tonneau Covers

Instead of clamping to the rails, you would just want to directly bolt the tent to the rails. From Topoak's install video: Basically get rid of the bracket/clamp and one of the bolts at each mounting locations. The remaining bolt would hang down and feed through the slots in the AAL rack. Then...
  17. Texas Sold: Kuat Ibex Midsize Bed Rack - Houston TX

$1000 OBO. Local Pickup in Houston TX. This is a Kuat Ibex for midsize trucks. It’s the A1 model for Tacoma, but I shortened it 3” to match the Ranger fitment. It’s also been modified slightly to mount directly to the bed attachment points on the 6th gen Ranger, holes drilled through the rails...
  18. Let's talk Bed Racks for Tonneau Covers

Probably a dumb question, but when you add the cutout for Baja S2 Chase lights, I assume that's the flush mount version? Looking to grab some S2 while they're on BF sale.
  19. Rear brakes shot

Yeah when I've seen rear brakes wear out faster than front, its usually from lots of intervention from the ABS/TCS systems.
  20. Let's talk Bed Racks for Tonneau Covers

Thanks, that gives me a pretty good idea. Would be a decent amount of overhang mounting them behind the cab glass.
