Yep- same. A plastic trim fork or similar will pop āem right out, no screwdriver necessaryā¦most will be reusable, even if theyāre in 2-parts. Most mudflaps come with a bag of replacements, or like others said theyāre cheap and easy to find on Amazon or Ford partsā¦
I get the āhands on wheelā warning seems like too much. I do use it, but I donāt like the positioning - seems it puts the truck too far right in the lane (centering the driverās eye-line, not the center of the truck) so I too feel like Iām fighting it constantlyā¦
@Wallowa Ranger - thatās not a...
Great to hear!!
Iām in the middle of the whole summer living out west, commuting to Denver over mountain passes, dirt forest road exploration and atleast 2 fully loaded 1000+ mile days.
My Lariat is doing very well! Just clicked over 7000miles (lifetime, not just THIS trip) The 2.3ās showing...
Yeah, testing is obviously important, and appreciatedā¦
After just putting on a 1000mile highway trip, did they never test the āPre-collision alert systemā and associated sensors in a light rain? Or after catching a load of bugs the width of Iowa and Nebraska?
I was getting really used to...
Nobody stared at it really, but the fork lift operator at the sod farm didnāt believe a pallet would fit between the wheel wellsā¦
Itās was easy, but the first time doing ātruck stuffā with my FFRanger! It does ride real nice with 1000#ās in the bed!
Hmmā¦I know nearly everyone has had good results with this one, and othersā¦but Iām still kinda hesitant to plug a $20 dongle into the $$$expensive wiring harnessā¦.i just roll around in sport mode. Itās way more hooliganny, and shuts off the auto start stop.
(And seems to get better mileage than...
I hear yaā¦it is mostly quietā¦I really like that.
but I get a bit of wind noise from the rear upper drivers door - right by my left ear - which I wish wasnāt thereā¦.š¤
Latest: black Bronco Wheels and tires.
more aggressive tires and a better look with black wheels. And kept the buckinā bronco center caps as a call-back to my first carā¦ā88 Bronco (2š¤£).
Stock 24 Lariat FX4. With 2022+ Bronco Black Diamond wheels (17x7.5 +55offset) and Stock (for them) General Grabber Atx 265/70R17
no rubs, TPMs learned on itās own.
Maybe Iāll go up to the 275ās mentioned above when these are shotā¦š¤£
Thereās a lot of these posts, but in an effort to make searches easier, hereās another one!
I found some Bronco Black Diamond wheels and stock tires - General Grabber ATx in 265/70/R17 On Facebook Market, at what I thought was a reasonable price. aftear reading numerous posts about tire sizes...
Yep. There is a lot of garbage out there, but I found some!
Sitting in a Walmart parking lot as we speak waiting to do the tire/drug deal.
There might be a gently used set of Lariat 18ās woth the standard Goodyears popping up on FB soon!
Thanks for this - just found a set on FB, your detailed explanation helped make my mind up.
now I just have to wade through the FB MARKETPLACE cesspool to hopefully get a good dealā¦š¤£
Sorry to quote a more than year old post,
But really? 275/70R17 is 33 (ish) do they really fit? Stock wheels, no lift?? No rubs, still??
Iām VERY interested in this combo, just about to pick up some bronco take-offs that are the same 17x7.5 +55offset (Black diamond, not SAS) and thinking...
Yep -
I have a weather tech cover, the tailgate seal doesnāt touch the ruler, but on top of that thereās a bit of a ledge on the leading edge of the plastic cap that catches the seal.
Mine (ā24 Lariat) displays the little
Red ball notification on the text app in the lower edge of the screen regardless of full view. Eg: if youāre using the full screen map you should have āquick launchā apps along the bottom - I think these are auto selected based on last used - I usually have...
Thatās sort of what I need to hear! Iām no stranger to 4x4ās, but Iāve heard a lot of āyouāll shoot your eye outā when it comes to THIS 4x4- and I havenāt had a part time system in a long timeā¦.so wasnāt sure of the self destruct settings on itā¦
That and tires, for sureā¦thinking Iāll wear the...
Iāve read a lot about drive modes lately, and 4H applications. Iām interested, what mode/ 4X4 configuration are you using for light snow, or moderately slippery road conditions??
spring turned backed to winter in Chicago this week, after rain, turned icey, to snow, my Monday commute was sketchy...
