There is a rubber mat for the rear of the rear seats NOW. amazon. I will buy one. I carry a dog everyday. That would do. I did the same with a CRV 2021 where the rear seat is folded and protected by a similar mat. I doubles as a good cargo area.

Now (october 2025) there is a rubber mat for the back of the rear seats in Amazon. I will buy it, and have it sewn some velcros so it sticks firm. Hope this helps from a year ago.
