@Truckin - In your picture, they looked pretty close to me, the ones I looked at locally to my eyes the Ford Performance were a bit darker gray and the Tremor had more of a silver/lighter gray sort of. Both great looking wheels, but with BAP, I wanted to stay darker.
Tremor - Magnetic...
@Truckin - Thanks for the posts & pics, I'm in the process of returning my Ford Performance wheels as a result of your posts. I was looking at a set of Ranger Tremor 42 mm offsets, but I would really prefer black since my "on order" Ranger will have the BAP. For now, I guess I'm going to...
I placed an order in early December, received an email within 24 hours from Ford saying that I'll hear back again within 45 days with a build date. Fingers crossed!
@Truckin Thanks, pretty much in the same boat as you are, I too bought a set of those wheels, they haven't arrived at the dealership yet and my truck isn't even being built yet, so I have no way to test fit them, so for now I think I'm going to try to return them.
Is your Lariat a 4X4 FX4...
I placed an order in early December, but without the side steps. After reading through this thread, I realized how much I rely on the "ladder" that's built in to the tailgate on my F150, so I swung by the dealership this morning and updated my order to include the integrated box side steps...
From what I'm reading, it sounds like they'll need to be adjusted. The have a self leveling feature, but I think it has to do with when there's a load in the bed causing the nose to go up, it levels the lights. But for a lift or level, the base position needs to be adjusted...
I'm waiting on my set to arrive, but based on what I've read here, it sounds like the offset isn't going to allow them to fit was we had all hoped. Very disappointing considering Ford lists them as for 19-24 Ranger 4x4.
Thinking about a small 3/8" Bora spacer because I really like these...
So I ordered a set of these "Rest of the world" Raptor wheels today from Ford, 17x8.5 with 55 mm, offset. I'm hoping to be able to fit a 275/70/17 without modifying anything.
I read through the forums, including the link a couple of posts above, but didn't see a definitive answer.
Anybody have...
Tried to find a set of these locally, but the two dealerships I visited said they can't find the part number. I placed an online order with Ford, unfortunately they were only shipping to dealerships that are a bit of a drive from me.
@Strommen95 I'm with you on the auto AWD, unfortunately it appears to only be available on the RR.
Also wish they had heated/cooled seats like my F150, cooled seats are really nice in the summer.
I've been looking around and can't find a definitive answer on this one.
Has anybody here been able to install Amp PowerSteps on their '24 Ranger? I've read that the '24 Bronco Amp ones may fit, I called RealTruck and they couldn't confirm it. They did say the Rhino ones worked, but the...
@Kevindust - yes, it appears to me the non-BAP trim levels all have the black unpainted wheel lip moldings, at least from what I've seen using the "build & price" tool.
My reasoning on preferring the black WLM on BAP/FX4 packages is that the scuffs & pin striping from going on narrow trails...
I was thinking the same as you, perhaps replacing the wheel lips with something just slightly larger like I did on my F150. Nothing huge and gaudy, just enough to help stop the tires from throwing up rock chips once I removed my running board and install AMP PowerSteps.
I think I've given up on getting a Tremor (not available) or Raptor (just can't justify), wife and I both really like the Lariat 2.7 V6 with FX4 package.
We're debating the BAP and wondering what the opinions are regarding having painted wheel lip moldings on the BAP vs the black unpainted...
Since Ford isn't offering a Ranger Tremor for 2025, I decided to see about getting a RR. Been watching for about 3 months, found 1 that was "in transit" with the color and options I wanted, so I contacted the dealership to confirm it arrived. Tried to get them to negotiate online or by...
Thanks for the feedback, I was really wondering if they're OBD or whatever they use would "find" it if I left it installed when taking the truck in for any service.
I was grateful the Subaru service writer mentioned it ahead of time, it's really easy access on our 2019 Forester, it's under the...
