  1. 2024 Ranger Not Scheduling This Week (1/11/24)

They are building them right now. Just wait and you will get yours. The majority of the battle was waiting for production to start. The other issue is the dealers if you ordered a RR. A lot of dealers are shady and lie like crazy. I believe January-February are already fully scheduled...
  2. Shots Fired! 2024 Toyota Tacoma vs 2024 Ford Ranger Comparison by Toyota

If the issue is across the board, they would fix it for all. I really haven't heard of many issues after the first few years of the 10R being out. The 10R60 did have a couple teething issues, but those look to be sorted out.
  3. 1-15-2024 Build Confirmed

Mine had a date of 1/15, but was updated today to "In Production". Maybe they are ahead of schedule :) Actually, I vaguely remember a post stating that once all of the parts arrive, and are verified for your vehicle that it goes to "in production". It may actually still start next week.
  4. 2024 Ranger February Clean-up Scheduling This Week (1/4/24)

X-plan is good for me because my local dealer has a 579 dollar doc fee that the x-plan limits to 100. Plus invoice price vs msrp is easy savings. (I work for GDBIW and GD is partnered with Ford).
  5. Update from ford.

It makes sense that they just keep it for someone else, or take it as an extra to have on the lot. You cancelling just means you don't get it anymore, but the order still exists.
  6. aluminum body

Aluminum has a lot more costs, and the ranger doesn't sell enough to justify most likely.
  7. I bailed

I didn't order a Nissan. Unless you mean which dealer I ordered my ranger from, which was quirk ford.
  8. I bailed

From what I saw, the Nissan payload was poo. Doesn't leave much room for towing. Granted not everyone tows like I do.
  9. 360 Rear View Camera

360 co-pilot is all of the sensors like blind spot monitoring, forward pre collision detection/assist, and rear park aids. On the newer models it also has the parallel park assist 1.0, and on the top models it is park assist 2.0 which basically parks for you.
  10. 360 Rear View Camera

It shows a top down view of your truck. There are cameras on the front/sides/rear, so it shows a 360 view around your vehicle.
  11. March Production

You gloss over the fact that the Michigan assembly plant ranger line was taken down for retooling for the 24 model year. So while you type out your paragraph, maybe you should read factual info, and learn first. You have a lot of lies (maybe not intentional?)/incorrect information. These NA...
  12. LED Matrix Headlights on NA Rangers

The Lariat and the raptor have the projector LED headlights. XL/XLT is LED non projector.
  13. 2024 Ranger (non Raptor) Scheduling

Priority code only matters within your dealership. If you are 4, and your dealership has another order with a 3, they take the 3 first. Outside of your dealership, the priority code is meaningless. It was also only recently that priority 3-9 was allowed for retail orders. Some options DO...
  14. My XLT is in production but no window sticker yet

The plant is closed for Christmas shutdown, so I imagine it is an automated system. Unless this year is special because of the strike...I haven't heard anything though.
  15. Pushed Again....

You also can't order a Toyota. You request what you want, and get the best match they can find/get. TBH this argument backfires on that sole fact. Last year when looking at vehicles for my girlfriend, the toyotas were backlogged 2+ months, and you got whatever came in at the time.
  16. Pushed Again....

Once the production line starts after Christmas/new years break, they will move things pretty quickly.
  17. What gives? No rear A/C vents?

I want a ranger, so I will get a ranger. It is pretty simple.
  18. I bailed

Well for the ranger, the power numbers shown are on 87 octane. The MPG was also on 87. I have never looked at the maverick though. Best performance may be on 91, but I am going by everything else that stated 87.
  19. I bailed

The 2.3l is also rated on 87 octane. It is readily available to look up. I also prefer the turbo torque and horse power curves. 1500ish rpm and you have quite a bit of grunt on tap already. Look up the engine curve of the Nissan. I don't need power at 5.5k+ rpm
  20. I bailed

The Nissan just didn't check the boxes for me personally. The ranger 4x4 gets better fuel economy than my AWD 2018 ford Taurus, and can tow my 7000 lb tractor/trailer when needed. Everyone is scared of turbos, but they have been using them overseas just fine for many years. You just can't be...
