Basically agreed, the RR just has more clearance issues compared to a 3rd gen Taco. And the question of how much damage you're willing to tolerate...
The way the rear lower control arms & armor is setup on a RR, plus the slightly low out-of-plane-gas tank, plus lower stock clearance in general...
For those wondering, Quinn has about $30k of aftermarket stuff bolted onto his truck to be able to survive this trail. This is definitely not the Raptor's natural habitat, haha.
Impressive nonetheless.
Haven't done it myself, but I know Billie Bars sells a full cover replacement with cupholders.

Your examples are the only two problem children, everything else is readily available. The truck has been out in the US for just a hair over 2 years - deliveries started in something like Mar or Apr of 2024.
There are plenty of non-chinesium toppers available...AluCab (South Africa), Smartcap...
I think it's pretty clear... if the Ford EV truck actually starts at $30k, and the Slate starts at $25k, Slate is 'cooked' as the kids say. You get all the modern amenities people expect in a vehicle in the Ford for just $5k more. The bare-bones Blank Slate has...nothing, and roughly the same...
I'm at work...what was the verdict?
If the winner is Toyo OC AT3s, then it's a great video.
If the winner isn't the exact tires I own, they're MONSTERS and UNEDUCATED. :)
Honestly, probably 4A/4H or 2H. Assuming you basically mean "forest service roads" there's really no need for any kind of 4WD 99.99% of the time. Recommend cycling to the correct (most comfortable) suspension setting and just have fun and let it rip in a regular drive mode.
Or just cycle over...
Here's something to chew on...

Clear the DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) and Transmission Adaptive Tables using the scan tool.
Drive the vehicle until the engine and transmission reach...
You gotta go in with FORSCAN and change tire diameter (or circumference? can't remember off the top) to the new spec.
There are walkthrough videos on YT...see link.
Can confirm 35x12.5s fit (with crashbars out and a lift, which the springs provide).
That being said, with a spring-only lift I could see a hard hit topping it out into the wheel well liner, especially with all that weight added. Am I crazy?
Rad build!
That SP cap looks great with the roof rack and really cleans up the goofy overhang aesthetic typically seen on trucks with canopy campers, and you've got the lights tying it all together. Chef's kiss as the kids say.
Do you have any straight side-profile pics?
I haven't experienced this at all...
Both my RR and Explorer ST are way better than any other turbo vehicles I've driven regarding tip-in, hesitation and how turbo spooling feels.
Recommend driving any CVT Subaru XT model if you want to know what shitty trans tuning and wacky tip-in is really...
These look real nice. I like the gray, but of course the black would match the interior better.
I had a bad experience with the 'duck canvas' covercraft version that's pretty similar to this and it ripped really bad during install.
I'm willing to get hurt again though, haha...
You confused me, because OEM (32.7) and 295s (33.3) are both sold/advertised as 33 inch tires with marginally different widths (11.2 vs 11.6). The OEM is simply an undersized 33, and the 295 is an oversized 33.
Obviously you're correct regarding availability in that fitment, but the question...
" For those of you that have gone up in tire size "
You wanted to know, but you aren't actually interested in running meaningfully larger tires?
Forums are weird sometimes.
