Thanks all!
Yeah, Iāll stick with the 70 series tires. Thanks for the info!
The wheels Iāll use are a 35 offset, so weāll see how that goes as far as any rubbing.
I'll update and post pics as soon as I get everything in gear.
Thank you for the input! I saw a post linked below where the owner went 285/70-17 with a 2" spacer up front. I'll figure on dialing at least 2" in to the coilovers.
Here's the post I saw:
285/70/17 on non-Raptor
Hi all,
I'm waiting for the Fox coilers to show up, shopping tires in the meantime. Does anyone know if a 285/75 will fit with the 1.5" leveling out I've got planned? I imagine clearance in the rear may be an issue as well with the extra 1" or so that the 285/75's have over the 70's. I was...
My ā25 Lariat 2.7 is in for the same issue(s) right now. They found a āU 3000 code in the gateway moduleā and have to order a new ecm (?). The main thing I noticed was that the software has t updated for 90 days and I couldnāt sync my phone to the truck (CarPlay āworksā, as much as it ever...
I read all that! : )
Nicely done, the flares look especially good with the Marsh Grey/BAP. Thatās the color/package I have, fun to know what it might look like š
Great write up!
Nice! Thank you for doing that, this is exactly what I was looking for last summer when I needed to remove my steering wheel to do a cover. I used a well done, but abbreviated video from Australia and things were just slightly different enough that it made me just a bit nervous : )
Props for...
If I were to throw this on Polymarket or Kalshi, I'd wager on bad coil pack/packs or a bad injector(s).
I had this exact same experience with my VW Golf R a few years ago, multiple times. They'd misdiagnose (and even replaced a coil pack on the noted cylinder), but "couldn't replicate" the...
Just getting around to replying to this.... Thanks @TractorFixer for figuring out the TireRack Raptor image hack! : ) I did a preview of Marsh Grey with the silver Nomad Field 504, kinda like it... I'm working on photochopping a mockup with a Smart Cap, no Raptor graphic and the front end...
Thanks friends! Tire rack's visualizer only has the 5G Ranger, but it gives a pretty good idea of the look. I'm leaning towards the field grey like @TractorFixer, could be a nice change from all the black wheels out there (including the stockers on my truck ;)).
Hello all,
I'm starting the hunt for some 17" wheels for my '25 Lariat and considering the 504 Field model from Nomad. I'm looking for something pretty simple and love the look of these. I like the "Everglades" Bronco wheels as well, but like how the 504 has a plain outer edge.
Does anyone...
Bumping this, as I was just about to post the same question. I have a Lariat with the large display and would love to have a speedo and tach that look like a "traditional" or analog dial.
Thanks in advance!
Short answer, yes! At least on the very front/hood of the vehicle.
Here's my take: I very much appreciate no rock chips on the front of my cars/trucks and I've had slight rust issues arise from standard road wear on the hood. I would have gladly paid $2K more for my 2018 Golf R had it not had a...
Hey there!
If itās the same as on an XLT or Lariat, the trim can be loosened to give some room, but canāt be removed entirely with the air bag in place. The air bag is pretty straightforward to remove though. Thereās a good YouTube video (apologies, donāt have the link handy).
A friend of mine with 2 Teslas (Yeah, that's another discussion...) successfully outsmarted the "hands on" alert by using two ankle weights attached to the steering wheel (insert face palm).
*Possibly* less annoying than the warning we receive?
I have the Go Rhino RB20's from Real Truck and like them a lot. Not super cheap and the shopping/shipping experience from Real Truck was straight up awful, but nice product and extremely easy to mount up.
I had to go back and re-tuck the flap at the bottom of the wheel (center spoke) once it had been on for a few days. I loosened the trim up from the back of the steering wheel, pulled the flap as tight as I could and used the plastic spatula tool to hold the flap behind the trim as I retightened...
This is a great thread, thank you all for the info and awesome pictures! This looks like a really good kit, definitely considering and watching thread for more updates!
