Yea looks like the bed was misaligned and struck that area during assembly line install. I'm guessing they remove the bed weld it and sand smooth, then respray the area hopefully to a unnoticeable repair.

After the recall cutoff date the modification to the AB was done on the assembly line, so not every '25 Ranger is affected which is a good thing.
