appreciate the kind words sir!
i agree, its the main reason I put it out. I would have loved this level of info for other vehicles I’ve modified in the past.
Brake lines - No
No breathers on the Raptor suspension
Bump stops are on the shock shaft. So strut spacers have no effect on bump stop engaging at the same point. We detail this extensively in the post
The rear lower side is very sturdy, im yet to have seen that one broken. The bracket its attached to should be a simple part to buy from Ford. I dont thimk our kit would be the right choice here.
That video holds zero relevance to what works on the RR. We absolutely agree that on most platforms, strut spacers arent the best option.
But none of the "problems" they discuss are relevant to the RR and in particular, the RR strut spacers we design and make. We dont lose travel, we...
There is definitely more room in the rear, so its close but i prefer to have more clearance. But, you DO need the 2” lift spacer in the front, which then to maintain rake, you need the 1” rear. So thats why its our recommended setup for 35s.
15mm would be ideal. Just make sure you get hubcentric 93.1mm spacers. That would be the same as fitting a +40 offset wheel, which is our reccomendation. But, not alot of options for that in the US.
The resolution on the sensors themselves is super high, so even a micro difference at the sensor will register as a ride height change. Its not nessecary to get them to 0 in our experience, as long as your within 0-4mm of 0, then your all good.
No. The spacer thickness (not the same as spacer lift acheived) needs to be greater than the increase tyre radius. Which requires a 2" front and 1" rear as stated in the article.
Ive pondered this myself. My personal opinion is this...
The Ranger Raptor is predominantly developed in Australia. By and far, Australian consumers have the lowest tolerance for anything less than perfection when it comes to vehicles. The love to complain!
I would put money on it that when...
