Thatās an outstanding idea, and something I will do . Would definitely help that connection point, and protect the threads at the same time. Thank you sir.
Iām thinking #1 is the nut that holds down the entire assembly, #2 is fused with a 3 amp, I suspect thatās the BMS fuse?
3 and 4 are empty accessories. Any suggestions, Iām thinking #1 if thereās continuity to that battery post SURROUNDED by plastic š
Thank you sir, I appreciate the helpā¦.and great information. I have a Wolfbox jump pack and the clamps are too big to fit directly on the post like yours do. And I need to edit that photo, those numbers are unreadable, sorry about that.
Iām needing some help from a kind soul whoās smarter than me and that aināt hard! On the positive battery post , thereās no room to attach a clamp from a jumper cable or a jump pack. If I were to need to jump off this battery, where do I need to clamp the cable?? Iām concerned that some of these...
Thatās been my experience as well, six quarts in, six quarts out. The dipstick always reads that way. I believe it is the effect of the check valve ( auto start/stop)
Likely not overfilled, I have measured mine ā¦.6 quarts out, 6 quarts inā¦still appears overfilled. It all depends on when you check it. I believe it is the check valve for auto start/stop. 2.7l

Thanks for looking at it, itās an odd and frustrating thing . My Ranger has 4200 on it . Been this way since I took it off the lot. I am very suspect of the dipstick.
I appreciate your reply
I may have to, I canāt confirm the stick with the triangle even exists, or that is any different. I did see a fellow on the F150 forum that did exactly what you described and cut a notch on the stick.
I ordered a stick from Ford , but itās the same one I have with the H stamp.
Thatās why I made...
Thatās 6 quarts out, 6 quarts in. Sitting overnight in the photo. I have also checked after normal operating temperature achieved, waited 15 minutes, checked and makes no difference. I have checked 15 minutes (per Manual) , 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes, overnight. Doesnāt matter, always...
