  1. Unleaded Ethanol free 90

Unfortunately I didn't get a price. I'll check next time I go back to that station.
  2. Unleaded Ethanol free 90

I'm just getting familiar with this. I moved from California where it's not available. Seeing more of it in Tennessee.
  3. Unleaded Ethanol free 90

2024 XLT FX4 2.3l Just curious if anyone is using 90 octane Unleaded "Ethanol Free" gas? I don't see it very often at the pumps. Any advantage/disadvantage?
  4. Planted seat brackets

You have to make sure the seat cover is vehicle specific year, make and model. Not sure what the legalities are removing a seat with air bags and replacing it with non air bag seat. I sure it would throw up a red flag in the computer system. Maybe it can be turned off with Forscan? Not sure.
  5. Planted seat brackets

Unless you're in a country that does not require them. US models do.
  6. Planted seat brackets

    Thanks.
  7. Planted seat brackets

    What do these brackets do?
  8. Seat bolt recall, can somebody post a picture for me? Do my aftermarket seat covers have to be removed?

The passenger seat failed on mine. It had to be removed for the replacement. The tech told me they cannot retorque the old fastener if it moves. I don't have seat covers so can't answer that. That should be a question for the dealer. My dealer is a fairly small dealer and said they have only had...
  9. Warranty declined because of windshield change

More reason to consider the external protection film on the windshield. I started a thread on this recently. I am highly considering it as I travel back and forth between Tennessee and California. My first windshield got sandblasted going thru TX, NM.
  10. Warranty declined because of windshield change

Sounds to me like a bogus Safe-lite install. If it's true what the dealer says. I would think Safe-lite would have insurance for such instances. Doesn't appear the dealer explained it very well. Sucks when your caught up in between. I would try and get a better explanation from dealer and...
  11. Overhead eye glass compartment

That's a bit toasty! 100 plus days even hotter!
  12. Overhead eye glass compartment

Mine are prescription.so I'd hate for them to get ruined.
  13. Overhead eye glass compartment

My wife would totally freak out. She hates anything the crawls, flies, slithers etc.
  14. Overhead eye glass compartment

I haven't really had that problem. I just have to make sure I place them correctly. I no longer close it with glasses in it.
  15. Overhead eye glass compartment

Lesson learned. I have used it many times traveling cross country but usually leave it open in case I need to change glasses while driving. Polarized lenses suck when your trying to read a screen while driving.
  16. Overhead eye glass compartment

I saw your other post on SD. That's what got me thinking about my experience. I should have been a factory process. All about cutting cost for profit.
  17. Overhead eye glass compartment

2024 XLT FX4 The overhead eye glass holder isn't worth a crap in high heat. I put my sunglasses in the holder, closed it and went in a store. Outside temp. was high 90's. Got back in the truck, went to grab my glasses and holly crap! They were so friggin hot I'm luck they didn't melt. A bit of...
  18. 2024 Ranger external windshield film

My insurance doesn't cover chipped windshields. From what I understand a new windshield costs about $1200-$1700. Possible extra cost to calibrate the electronics. My issue is usually the sand blasting my windshield gets.
  19. 2024 Ranger external windshield film

I was thinking now that I have a new windshield it would be the time to do it. From what I here older windshields will need a bit more prep work on the install such as clay bar.
