I can tell you in my 2024 RR, I once banged into it on accident, with my cue case and the ring popped right off & hit the floor (no damage). Also popped right back on, so apparently easy to do.
I saw above someone mentioned that it might need to actually be cut off, to be removed. Not sure how this one secures itself in place... can you verify if after it's secured in place, that the entire cap assembly can still be removed (with the key of course) or once in place, there it stays...
I had emailed them as well, about their abysmal installation manual. For a company that has been around as long as Leer and respected for the offerings... their install manual leaves much to be desired. They did get back to me and she said she'd pass my input thoughts up the ladder. Don't know...

Not sure about the UPR catch can, I went a different route... IAG air Oil Separator, more $$$, but no maintenance (plug & Play, install and forget, it empties itself back into the intake system). It's been in there for 6 months now and now issues as near as I can tell.
