  1. First Mods?

Nice... however my original answer was only security concern, not knowing if the MX4 had paddles and completely covered cord. I see many covers on the market that have just a bare cord and nothing for additional security. Nice to see the MX line does.
  2. First Mods?

LOL... I bought the Leer 350 (only wanted a tri-fold, and not the quad). Great cover, no leaks at self car wash or weather.
  3. First Mods?

Yes, but nice to deter those who are dishonest as well (release latches and completely covered cord). Wish all Tonneau cover manufacturers took this into consideration.
  4. First Mods?

Gotcha... is the cord completely covered, or hanging out in places between the latches? Just something to consider for bed security.
  5. First Mods?

Hope that tonneau cover has some kinda release latch or pinch sliders, instead of just an exposed latch cord to release it (for security)... since it's easy to slide something like a slim-jim under the cover in back, snag an unprotected (uncovered) cord and bob's yur uncle for bed entry. All...
  6. Like or Dislike Adaptive Cruise Control?

I like it, for when just driving down the street or highway and approaching another vehicle, the gentle reduction in speed, without canceling cruise... allowing you to change lanes and go around as needed. However... when a vehicle in front of you slows for turning, it only sees it as an...
  7. Wheel well screws - Gotta be doing something wrong

Ah ha, that type. I believe if you look closely, you'll see they aren't actually threads, they are just rings that look like threads. However, you say once the screw part is pulled out, you still can't remove the grommet?
  8. Wheel well screws - Gotta be doing something wrong

Sounds like whomever installed them at the factory, over torqued them and stripped out the plastic threads (assuming they are the same type used everywhere else automotive).
  9. Ranger Raptor Bed Replacement build

Well, I've gotta say... that unit right there just looks Top Notch!
  10. HARDLY BROKEN IN..... NOW BROKEN (hit at 50kmh)

Good lord, glad you're ok man... wonder if that hit bent the frame? Has always seemed to me, after a hit like that, they are never the same after repairs. Who knows what plastic pieces suffered all through your vehicle due to this smash. Likely cracked plastic everywhere behind the scenes IMO.
  11. Headroom for a 6'0" guy

Well, I'm 6' 4" and even with a ball cap on, lots of head room... no worries.
  12. Seats upgraded with Katzin leather with Degreez

Boy, those came out looking great, didn't they...
  13. May the Fourth be with you.

LOL... not sure about the Dark Side, but they look more like the old Spy vs Spy setting there.
  14. 10R60 or 10R80 Transmission is in 2024 Ranger Raptor?

I as well... when you tell it to "scoot", it doesn't even think about it, it just does it and yells NEXT!
  15. 10R60 or 10R80 Transmission is in 2024 Ranger Raptor?

Yikes... this I did not know, about the manufacturer torque limits. Wonder why they chose the 60 over the 80, with a truck they already beefed up virtually everywhere. Maybe the bottom dollar production cost would have added more to the initial build and end MSRP, just that much more on an...
  16. 10R60 or 10R80 Transmission is in 2024 Ranger Raptor?

Quick question for the group... there seems to be conflicting information when asking Google the following question, answers come up on both tranies for my vehicle, depending on how search criteria is phrased. Does anyone know definitively which transmission is in the 2024 For Ranger Raptor...
  17. G.O.A.T. knob removal?

I can tell you in my 2024 RR, I once banged into it on accident, with my cue case and the ring popped right off & hit the floor (no damage). Also popped right back on, so apparently easy to do.
  18. Has anyone had luck getting rid of installation marks on windshield?

Use automotive BrakeClean (don't get it on your paint), it'll take off almost every kind of glue, grease, oil, etc.
  19. This is pretty amazing...(Metal rust cleaner)

Sorry, but being a shop guy for 50 years... there is absolutely no chance this isn't BS!
  20. Beware of this guy selling VIN locked tuners

Good thing you were able to go back through eBay or your CC company to get your purchase price refunded and reported him as a fraudulent seller.
