Hey guys. Title says it all - curious how much headroom you have in your Ranger if you are around my height, 6 ft 0.

I had originally wanted the power sunroof but that obviously got delayed by Ford. My wife had just reminded me that, in previous cars, I always needed to drive the actual car beforehand to confirm I had enough headroom. I've read online the Power Moonroof option removes exactly 2" of headroom space on these

Might be for the best I didn't order a Sunroof Ranger sight unseen - would have really sucked to sign papers, grab the keys, only to find my head brushing the roof!

I did have that happen before with some cars. My current Subaru, even with a sunroof, still gives me 1.5" of headroom. Not much but enough. On the flip side, I almost bought a Jeep where my head was hitting the roof. Had to test drive that with a crunched neck and ultimately walked away!

Thanks guys

I'm 6'2" and never had an issue with headroom. Plenty, even with seat raised up.
Next time you're in there, care to check how much in inches? I'm just curious at this point! Don't remember from back when I test drove

I’m 6’1” and have around 2.5” of clearance above my head with the seat raised about halfway. I have a lot more head room than I had in my 16 tacoma.

That's good to know! Like I said, power moonroof eats up 2" of headroom apparently.

If that's true then that means guys like us, with a power moonroof, would have had only 1/2” of headspace left - yikes!

I'm 6'4 and always wear a hat. No headroom issues. Except getting in I knock off my hat sometimes..

I'm a bit under 6' but I've had a few guys who are 6'4" and one who I think said he was 6'6" and none of them complained. That tallest guy actually sat in back for about a half hour; I'm sure he felt cramped but he was fine for the short trip. I think at 6' you can still buy what you please at your favorite millinery (or haberdashery) and wear that big hat on your way home.

I didn’t have a measuring tape but sitting upright and chair about mid height, with a hat, four fingers fit between my cabeza and the headliner.

If you get the fully adjustable seats you’ll be fine. I’m 6’1” and have no issues at all.

Do you have a freakishly long torso? Otherwise you’ll be fine.
Thanks all for responding! And thank you @el_sabio for that pic! If your hand is anything like mine, your 4 fingers are about 2.5" in width...

If the power Moonroof really does take up 2" of headroom then that would also point to a net of just half an inch... Starting to feel glad I didn't get the sunroof!

6'9" and no problems with head or leg room. I do have the fancy powered seats (10 way adjustable? Maybe only 8?)

Well, I'm 6' 4" and even with a ball cap on, lots of head room... no worries.
