  1. Thoughts on the Ford Performance Tune - Non Raptor

I have the Ford tune on my 2024 XLT with the 2.3L. I like the added power, but I have not noticed any improvement in the hard downshifts and occasional rough upshifts since getting the tune (almost a year now). I lost 1-2 mpg, but I drive it a little harder now to take advantage of the added...
  2. Review - RCI Rock Sliders for XLT (2024)

Totally agree about price. It’s the I-didn’t-buy-a-Toyota tax! Lot more competition for Tacomas and Galdiator after market stuff.
  3. Review - RCI Rock Sliders for XLT (2024)

I emailed them and they responded quickly, so they may have fixed it. But in the online version I used, step #17 was missing for the drivers side slider. I started with the drivers side and when I did the passenger I realized the missing step.
  4. Colorado Sold: Side steps/running board from 2024 XLT - $150 (pick up only)

Selling the side steps (running boards) from 2024 XLT. These are in good shape, with a couple minor scrapes on the bottom from off roading. Includes 12 mounting bolts. Local pickup (or I can meet you within 20 miles) of Broomfield, CO. $150 OBO.
  5. Review - RCI Rock Sliders for XLT (2024)

So after a recent trip to Utah where I decided to tackle a pretty challenging trail, I decided it was time for actual, frame-mounted rock sliders. I went with RCI but also looked Rocky Road and those seem like they would be good as well. I honestly can't remember what the deciding factor was in...
  6. Headroom for a 6'0" guy

If you get the fully adjustable seats you’ll be fine. I’m 6’1” and have no issues at all.
  7. Stock Ranger Raptor vs. Beer o'Clock Hill

    A two hour video!!
  8. All I want is 10 mph

    I’m feeling chill, but thanks
  9. All I want is 10 mph

Yes, there is something wrong with it. Very wrong.
  10. 2024 XLT FX4 at Badlands Off-road Park

Very cool. How are you liking the Eibach suspension? I have the exact same truck and am thinking about upgrading to Eibach.
  11. All I want is 10 mph

Seriously, is this for a race track or driving 107+ on public roads? If it’s for roads, then, sorry, that’s insane and your thread should be hijacked. No one should be supporting a juvenile fast and furious fantasy.
  12. New(ish) 2025 XLT

Welcome from a fellow Coloradan and XLT owner (mine is a 2024 and Cactus Gray). Enjoy the truck!
  13. All I want is 10 mph

Wait, you want to drive faster than 107 mph on public roads? FFS.
  14. What did you do WITH your 6G Ranger today?

Well, it wasn't today, it was a little over a week ago, but I took my nearly stock XLT FX4 to the Maze District of Canyonlands and managed to drive it safely out to Cleopatra's Chair. This is rated 5 on OnX, the hardest trail I've done. It required very careful line selection and tire placement...
  15. Ranger is 2nd most reliable midsize truck in Consumer Reports latest reliability report

In that in that sentence I was referring to their overall ratings (and edited my post now). The overall includes driving test, safety and other stuff.
  16. Ranger is 2nd most reliable midsize truck in Consumer Reports latest reliability report

I don't understand Consumer Reports (and I subscribe). If you look at their overall ratings of current model year, the Ranger is 2nd to last, with only the Gladiator below it. Now that includes other factors in addition to reliability, but here are the current reliability ratings: Ridgeline...
  17. 2.3 Owners with tonneau cover - any mileage increase?

I don't think I saw any change (Truxedo Sentry hard roll up tonneau). I've since added the Ford Performance Tune, which, as expected, reduced my MPG a bit.
  18. Another Day....Another RECALL

I've had three in two years on 2024 (two of which I have not dealt with yet).
  19. Show me your overlanding set up!

Yup. It’s good, but not perfect. Contemplating a topper though.
