It was a hard top. My perception was that most of the wind noise was coming from the square-ish front of the vehicle rather than the top itself. For comparison, I have a stock 2006 ragtop Mustang GT which is far quieter.

Similar to cc1999's comments, I test drove both and found that the bronco had significant wind noise at highway speeds. I'm sure it's more capable offroad, especially with the breakover angle but realistically I'm going to be 90% on road/10% off.

Well pls do share what the dealer does; the warranty is supposed to cover manufacturing defects that show up as cracking, peeling, delaminating, dulling, etc.

I love the bronco looks and thought I was dead set on getting one…until the test drive. The wind noise at highway speeds is just really bad. I could not imagine a long cross country trip in the Bronco so far, loving my Ranger Raptor.

Thanks for sharing the symptoms. I also have the 4DTech and it's been pretty flawless - however, I had what I thought was an HVAC issue (would not blow warm) afterwards but with more driving it turns out that's not the case.

I do notice some signal loss with the stubby jr. AM stations have more static, and FM digital goes quiet for a few moments at a time when it loses signal. All in all, I will keep it because it's a decent tradeoff for not hitting the garage door and I'm often just using carplay spotify anyway...
