Anybody drove both? On road and off road?
I may also occasionally tow a Polaris Xpedition (close to 5k lbs with trailer and all). Bronco will only tow 3500 lbs so it's out for that

I have owned both.
Hands down for me prefer the Ranger Raptor.

The Bronco was fun, but noisy inside and limited in daily life capability.
At least it was for me that is.

No doubt the Bronco is the better off roader, but everything else I use the vehicle for, the Ranger does a much better job and is also far more comfortable while doing it.

Ps.
I am pretty partial to some John Deere green myself. LOL

Similar to cc1999's comments, I test drove both and found that the bronco had significant wind noise at highway speeds. I'm sure it's more capable offroad, especially with the breakover angle but realistically I'm going to be 90% on road/10% off.

Was that wind noise with a soft top or a hard top? I test drove a soft top one several years ago and it was very noisy. Didn't like it at all. Have not drove a hard top

hard tops aren't much better. I went from a soft top and get a hard top and still hated the noise

It was a hard top. My perception was that most of the wind noise was coming from the square-ish front of the vehicle rather than the top itself. For comparison, I have a stock 2006 ragtop Mustang GT which is far quieter.

Ford should add a traditional welded in fixed steel roof to the Bronco lineup.
It would improve noise, structural rigidity, reduce weight and lower cost. I would guess 90% of Bronco owners never remove the hardtop due to the hassle, weight and storage/damage risk.

Yep, mine was a 2 door and all 2 doors were hardtops and it was the easily the loudest vehicle I have owned since back in the 80s maybe ever. I owned my Bronco a little over year, and I did finally sort of get use to the wind noise in the cabin, however I knew I was never going to take the roof off or the doors off etc. etc. So, putting up with that amount of noise all for feature of the vehicle I had no intention of ever using was sort of a big reason I grew tired of it pretty quickly.

I have now owned my Ranger Raptor a similar amount of time, at well over a year, and still love the Ranger, not sure there is anything on the market I would rather have in place of my Ranger Raptor.

In fairness I do have other larger HD trucks and couple another Car/SUVs, but my Ranger Raptor is my preferred daily.
