I took mine in to the dealer but they couldn't replicate it and didn't have any suggestions other than it might be tied to a low battery. Since them it happens about once a month. I've always been able to switch it back to normal mode while still driving, though. I'm surprised this hasn't...
I brought mine in for this and they've had it now for most of a week. I'm hoping they can figure it out. I've had it both start up in a random drive mode, and switch modes while driving.
It took me a minute to figure out where to put my fingers, but then it was very easy to separate and reattach. I'd give the whole process at most a two out of ten in terms of difficulty.
I'm tall so my seat is set all the way back, all the time (and I wish there was just about half an inch more legroom). I can get in by stepping over the running board but it's a bit of an awkwardly long step. So mostly I step on the running board while grabbing the wheel, and pivot into the...
My Raptor costs about $150 per year more than my Subaru, with identical coverages. Costing more makes sense given that the Raptor is more expensive and probably less safe in a crash, but I was surprised that it was so close.
Mine finished getting built in June, after a long time "in production," probably on a QC hold if I had to guess. Then shipping took another 20 days or so. These kinds of delays seem pretty typical from what people are posting. The lack of detailed information is frustrating while you are...
And, the MPG isn't necessarily all that bad. I've been babying my Raptor during the break-in and am currently averaging 21 MPG over the last 700-ish miles, according to the computer.
Personally, of those two trucks, I'd choose the 2024. You give up the newer engine, but you get a bigger discount and it's set up the way you want it. I think it's the better deal, by a good margin.
I just had this happen with my Raptor, though it started right up and the battery didn't sound weak. I'll thinking I'll give it a while and see if it happens again, and if it does then check on the battery health.
I installed the 4Dtech one and it took under five minutes, including emptying the glove box before taking it off. It's irritating to have to spend the money to remove an unwanted feature, but it is easy and it does work.
Mine spent a bit longer than that "in production" but did get built eventually. The lack of information and clear updates through the process creates way more frustration than there needs to be.
I'm definitely interested. Looking at the photos, I think you've designed for this already, but my one request would be to not have the platform come so far forward that it would interfere with the front seat recline. Those of us who are tall and keep the seat all the way back and with some...
Mine was ordered by the dealer back in February, and started production at the beginning of May. It spent about a month and half in production, presumably because of the same quality control hold that has delayed others, and then spent more than 20 days in transit. So total time from order to...
That's what I did. I looked nearby and everything had a big markup, then I started looking nationally, and while I was doing that I lucked into one locally that was already on order and with no markups. So I jumped at that. The dealer said that they were getting calls from all over the west...
I agree. Something is hinky. There's a point where it doesn't make sense to keep waiting, and instead start shopping for something that is actually available.
