That's a great "take the high road" approach Peter. Kudos to you for being understanding and not chastising the dealership or the accessories department. I'm anxious to hear your report.
Hey Peter. Had a chat with Dom yesterday at Phil Long. I'm scheduled for my tune installation for next week. Unfortunately, only 2 of my recalls can be attended to at the same time as the other 2 do not have the solution and/or parts.
Thank you for the link Peter.....got them on order! If you so feel inclined to share your dealership of choice and your Service Advisor's name, it's always helpful to work with someone who has navigated the waters. I'm assuming you are getting a few recalls done at the same time?
Hey Peter. Nice clarity in your photographs.
I am not familiar with the Silicone Frame Tube Hole Plugs.....do tell and maybe a photo please?
I see you are a Colorado boy. May I ask where you be at as I too will be headed into my dealership here in Colorado Springs for my ProCal tune...
Here is a statement from the ProCal 4 instruction: ***NOTE*** If vehicle is equipped with an automatic transmission, several miles and/or days of driving may be required for all adaptive learning to complete. Do not be alarmed at shift quality immediately after installing of calibration. It is...
Dive it like you stole it and report back Jason. From what I have read, your Ranger has some "learning" to do and it takes some time and miles for all to be revealed. Have a safe weekend.
You know you're on to something good when your wife just asked...."has Jason responded back yet!" The only exit from our home to civilization is Highway 24 with its 60 mph speed limit. Ever since Deb saw our road department's sign encouraging "zipper merge," we both take the...
We are all pumping the brakes and anxiously awaiting your full report. Like a kid with a new toy, anything short of OMG....you gotta get yourself one of these.... is completely unacceptable. Thanks Jason for leading the way.
After reading the ProCal 4 instructions on .pdf, I need to ask this forum a few questions. It's obviously in my best interest to have my Ford dealership do the initial installation as the tune is VIN specific, 3 year warrantee, etc. The instructions state that after software install is...
I went into the Ford Performance page to buy the ProCal tune for my 2025 Ranger 2.7L and like the screen shot states....It DOES NOT fit my 2025 Ranger. Anybody else seeing this?
Most excellent. My wait is over and I will be visiting my Ford dealership with a fist full of recall notices. Let's get it all done with one visit. Please all of you who get the tune....report back with your experiences.
Colorado Springs and the Rockies are no strangers to hail damage....been there. The only vehicle my wife and I have that has fared the best is her 1981 GMC Jimmy. Now that's a heavy medal baby. Dang that girl loves her ride.
I have pinged Ford's new contact in Ford Accessories and Ford Racing Parts General Information Center as recently as May 4th for a reliable status and expectation of receiving a 2025 2.7L tune. My request has been the same for over a year now........when? Needless to say as evidence of this...
I'm looking for VBRO recommendations in Lake City. Living at the base of Pikes Peak gives me a great barometer of conditions elsewhere in the high Rocky Mountains. I know we are getting close to prime-time vacationers which means if one is going to get reservations....now is the time. Anybody...
The e-bikes I build pay special attention to us that are north of 60 whereby one looks through their glasses and not over them. I build on the 1999 Cannondale Super V platform because of its step-through frame and custom build from there. Lightweight totaling under 50 lbs, full suspension...
I didn't build a side-by-side and a pair of e-bikes for the misses and me this winter just to sit in the garage. Colorado has some of the finest playgrounds in the nation....in my humble opinion.
I've been a DIY with Adams Polishes ceramic coating for a long time. Once you understand the process....easy peesie. Don't forget your wheel wells and inside your wheels. As for PPF, I choose XPEL and the cost will be what it will be. There is such a waiting list where I live to get a PPF...
I agree with the white cotton extendable.....and blow out to refresh. The more I learn about Mass Airflow Sensors, the more inclined I am to move away from oil-sprayed air filters. All my old school vehicles have those filters, but these new dual-turbo, highly engineered vehicles.....I'm still...
