  1. Anyone try a 2024 mustang tilting headrest?

I ended up finding a set of 24 Mustang GT headrests relatively affordably. Found one with a mixture of cloth and leather too, which matches the XLT seats and my hacked leather Lariat dash rather well! And they're soooooo much more comfortable than the ranger headrests for me... Surprisingly a...
  2. Instrument cluster upgrade from 8" to 12" using Forscan (my DIY)

I wasn't able to find a way around the inverted drive mode dial. That and the quiet turn signals and general stuttery feeling of the cluster made it a bit of a downgrade :/ so I sent mine back... Curious if any of the Australian companies selling swaps have similar issues or have found...
  3. 12" Display Questions. Are these Normal?

Yeah, unfortunately I trust my local dealer about as far as I can throw them... Plus I'm pretty sure they'd just say they aren't compatible and call it at that. It sounds like they'd have to replace the ACM and mode knob with Lariat versions to make it work, and those are over $1200 just in...
  4. California Sold: Lariat Gauge Cluster - $420 + Shipping

Went ahead and returned this. No longer available.
  5. 12" Display Questions. Are these Normal?

I think I'm going to pull it :/ I just went out to try a few more Forscan changes to try and fix the turn signals only to find that it also doesn't save any of my settings after the IPC goes fully to sleep... Then I drove it around the block and my audio changes didn't work and I couldn't even...
  6. 12" Display Questions. Are these Normal?

Good data points, thanks! The Raptor cluster is yet another model I know, so interesting to hear how different it is. Normal is on the far left of the mode select for me with the Lariat cluster. Makes sense that the Raptor knob would be different too since you have 4A, but needing a different...
  7. 12" Display Questions. Are these Normal?

So I got a good deal on a 12" cluster from a wrecked Lariat and swapped it in for the 8" cluster from my XLT yesterday. More about that process here if you're interested. I think I'm the first to do this on a US model? Pardon making a new thread about these, but I wanted to get more eyes on...
  8. Instrument cluster upgrade from 8" to 12" using Forscan (my DIY)

So I went through the asbuilt comparison and switched anything pertaining to gauges back to what the Lariat had and now all the optional gauges appear to work! Woohoo! (This was with the engine off, so pardon the engine and battery icons being on and everything being at 0). Couple small...
  9. Instrument cluster upgrade from 8" to 12" using Forscan (my DIY)

Ok, so after a roundabout saga somewhat fueled by AI nonsense I think I have this working... I restored my IPC data to the new cluster and the RPM and configurable gauges (boost, oil pressure, etc.) didn't work... AI said it was because I didn't hook up the second connector which carries the...
  10. Any members in or near Santa Clarita Ca? Test vehicle needed for new product, extended automatic transmission dipstick.

The 2024 is a unique combination in that it has the 10R60 transmission and older 2.3L, so it needs a different bracket and tube combination than either the 19-23 or the 25-26. (And you can't just take the tube from one and bracket from the other as the bracket position and tube routing have to...
  11. Instrument cluster upgrade from 8" to 12" using Forscan (my DIY)

I actually already have the upper glovebox, I was literally the last to get one before the price shot up. If someone else wants to ask about it though this was the seller https://www.ebay.com/str/lkqonline they have a few other parts from that VIN (it's in the link above), but I didn't see the...
  12. Instrument cluster upgrade from 8" to 12" using Forscan (my DIY)

So I found a 12" screen from a wrecked Lariat for $380... so it looks like I'll be giving this a try soon. Looks to be almost identical to my truck: Same year, FX4, 2.3L, and lower mileage, so here's hoping that makes it easier to configure. Hurts to see one like this, but based on the VIN this...
  13. What did you DO TO your 6G Ranger today? 🧰 🛠️ ⚙️ 🧽

Given that the oem front license plate holder already obstructs the front camera slightly so long as the light bar is behind it (which it looks like it is) it should be fine.
  14. Looking for a fuel filler cover/ cap to keep out water and crud

Wish it came in a color other than green! I'd worry about my wife trying to fill it with diesel lol (even though I know there are other things to prevent that). Even has a fastener hole for a lanyard if you don't care for the magnet!
  15. 2024 Tailgate Protector

The new version of the @TripleAliners tailgate mat looks to have a good fit, but unfortunately they seem to be having some trouble getting the old version out of the supply chain. :/ They sent me one hoping for a review, but Amazon ended up sending me the old revision instead. They told me it'd...
  16. Looking for a fuel filler cover/ cap to keep out water and crud

I printed this one but slightly scaled down to fit the ford neck instead of Chevy's. https://www.printables.com/model/849466-2023-gmc-canyonchevy-colorado-capless-fuel-cap Took some trial and error, but the fit is where I want it now. I'll probably reprint it with a strap at some point (or...
  17. StickerFab under hood fuse box labels

I'm sorry to say I ordered what I think are stickerfab knockoffs, purely because their shipping was ridiculous. I used these (in vinyl), for $11 with free shipping. Quality seemed perfectly acceptable. Can't tell the difference from what was shared above...
  18. Anyone try a 2024 mustang tilting headrest?

Just to update the forum... I talked to the 3 guys at work that have Maverick's, and only one has adjustable headrests, and they were brown/black leather (like this) so I didn't even try them. The other two are XLTs with blueish gray interior (like this) and also have permanently fixed rests...
  19. Mirror tap and Fuse tap for Detector or Dash Cam?

Did you ever end up uploading this to thingiverse? Would love to give this a go.
  20. Back Seat Camera Power?

You know, fair point! That avoids the a pillar and is fairly easy. Might be a little silly that my rear camera is hard wired and my front is USB only, but oh well lol.
