So my '24 is at ~15.5k and I've started getting brake system errors. It'll pop up on the dash saying "Check Brake System" and the Brake light will illuminate for 5-10 mins and then self clear, and the app gives a notification about a low brake fluid level switch error. It's done this ~8x over the last couple weeks. Otherwise the brakes feel fine. I pulled the code and it's c0049: 01:28 for an intermittent brake fluid level switch.

Googling this code it looks like there's a TSB out for the 21-24 Bronco 2.3L (which is almost identical to the Ranger) for this exact code that states that replacement of both the reservoir and harness pigtail is required.

I've got it at the dealer now and they confirmed the code, but I'm waiting for their call to talk what they're going to do about it. Has anyone else run into this? It'll be covered by warranty, but I'm curious if the TSB that's applicable to the Bronco will have them replacing the pigtail or if they'll just replace the reservoir (which contains the integrated level sensor) and try to call it good. It sounds like some of the Bronco folks have had the reservoir replaced and had the issue come back a while later (see thread here on Bronco5G). Hoping that's not the case here.

So yeah, confirmed they're replacing the reservoir, but said they see no reason to replace the pigtail as well. Fingers crossed this isn't the same issue.

My truck is at the dealer now for the same issue. I am not sure about TSB but it was brake fluid from the caliper leaking onto the motor for the electronic parking brake. Luckily Im still covered under warranty, but Ive been a few other users on here with the same issue.

Yeah, I've seen plenty on the parking brake failures, but mine wasn't that. My error was just a pretty ambiguous "Check Brake System". They had to pull the master cylinder and replace the whole brake fluid reservoir because the low fluid switch inside was intermittently shorting out. Apparently it's a common problem on the Bronco (since there's a TSB about it) but I haven't seen any mentions of it being a ranger thing too on any of the boards.
