    I just bought a Ranger with the side steps factory installed. $215 option! Well worth the money. And hassle. But you are correct, they are a valuable add on. Easy to access the bed. Easy in and out.

  10. Gas mileage on weekend trip (2024 Ranger XLT 4wd)

    Seems different Rangers get different mileage. My ‘21 XLT sup cab averaged around 18.6 combined. My ‘24 Lariat (both 4x4, also the 2.3L) is averaging around 22 MPG. Same old driving habits, same old driver!

    Why buy an extended warranty when you already have 3 years bumper to bumper ? Just wait until it’s about to expire, then buy it. If you still even have the truck. Ya never know.

    It was installed incorrectly, and I wouldn’t accept it. Lazy & sloppy. Also those openings were not pre-cut by Bedrug. It comes without any cuts. There’s a video on YouTube showing a proper install. Worth your while to take a look at it.

    I have it in my 2024 Lariat. Yes, it was. I have the stubby shifter in my 2024 Lariat 2.3L.

    The ‘24 shifter is electronic & had to be to utilize the auto park system. For 2025 Ford dropped the auto park and went back to the mechanical shifter.
