AgreedAnd they aren't even real leather.
I opted for a fully loaded XLT because I wanted cloth seats.
There is nothing in a Lariat that screams an extra $5600 over an XLT High.

Curious how forum users break down. Iām guessing a lot of Raptors. What else? Iām an XL man myself.
Traded my black ā21 XLT super 4x4 for a slightly used ā24 Lariat FX4 with pretty much everything on it. Carbonized gray. Love the push button start & entry, heated steering wheel, rear side steps, LED headlights, 360 camera. Also has deluxe tow pkg, skid plates & rear locker. Rides like a Lincoln. My dream truck. I couldnāt be happier.
Same here - I like the extras on the Lariat trim and don't do heavy off-road stuff so RR was over the top. The 2.3L cranks out plenty of power in sport modeLariat for the leather seats, larger gauge cluster screen and headlights. I always buy a trim near the bottom, decided to treat myself this time.
Towing capacity is the key difference, which is why I opted for a Lariat. Itās a very significant difference between 7,500 pounds for the Lariat, and 5,510 pounds for the Raptor. If you need to tow more than 3,500 pounds, the Raptor is not suitable for the job. What does Lariat do that Raptor does not? Lariat with a few options is almost as expensive as Raptor.

$24,525 CDN difference is why I went with the Lariat. It's obvious we're subsidizing US Raptor pricing.
call me crazy but I put Tiger tough cloth seat covers over my lariat leather seats. And they aren't even real leather.

Might be wrong, but I believe all 6th gen rangers sold in Canada are 4x4Interesting!
Curious, how does that difference break down in Canada when the Lariat is optioned up with 4x4, 2.7L v6, a BAP pkg, and an FX4 pkg.
I am just guessing that gap between them closes by $10K or so?
I agree. At my old age ,I 've spent half my life driving vehicles without airbags, rear view cameras, power windows,, auto braking, parking sensors. Almost 1/4 of my driving life, no A/C, so all the technology means nothing to me. I like the simpler driving experience of an XL.STX. My only splurge ........STX here. Everythingās too expensive these days, though I get thatās a personal perspective. These things are so loaded with tech these days I donāt much miss the upscale features.

I know my 2024 Lariat FX4(with 2.3)was $59K where as the Raptor is $82K so big difference.Interesting!
