Another popular 5g topic is sharing "trucky" things you did with your new Ranger. So here goes...
Lots of people like to report trips to Lowe's, etc. Today I had to run for some outdoor electrical stuff for a patio/deck project. Olaf went into action, easily handling that 10 foot plastic 1/2" conduit, thanks to his power rear window. On the 2 miles home, I didn't even know I was hauling anything! Rode like a dream, no (noticeable) squat😁...
Ok, a minor trucky thing😁...
Have at it...those of you lucky dogs🐶...

No pics, but I drove my 6G to Ohio today. Hopefully no clouds for tomorrow‘s eclipse.

Which folding bed cover did you go with and how was the installation? Thanks!

I used the Gator EFX hard cover from my 2019, and it fits great. Today I installed/recycled the rubber strip/seal at the front of the bed, had to wait for foam tape from ebay. All sealed up. However there are about 10 holes of various sizes below the front top of the bed, for what I have no idea, and I have to find some plugs to seal them too, otherwise I'm afraid water will leak in there.

Tried loading the dogs plastic kennel in the back seat and banged it against the body behind the door and put a sizeable dent there. Apparently smacked it twice.

With how easy it dented, it should be really easy to have it PDR'd out.

Almost do it yourself. Try a bit of dry ice might pop back out.

Yeah, I bought a suction cup type thing at a car show years ago, but it never worked!

Drove it to Ohio to be in the path of the total Eclipse. It was the truck's first real trip and it was great on the highway. Traffic sucked coming home and it averaged 23.8 mpg on the 150 mile trip.

I put the 4WD into action for the first time on Saturday. The FX4 gear didn't have any problems with this trail, but I've got plans for bigger tires/suspension and some other stuff!
