Alll ready made chicken or tuna can is the perfect size I have A Westie dog who sits on console paws on rotatory dail no more problems Make sure clean wash can also can be paint black. Simply an effect result.
thanks, I'll give it a try. My Scottie sits on the console too.

Puppy kept trying to put my truck into 4x4. I couldn't find a manufactured solution that I liked, and didn't want anything permanent. So, I created my own puppy proof drive mode selector shield. A Schd 80 2 1/2" pipe cap, adhesive backed felt and foam weather stripping. It's over-kill, but it stays in place, there's no lateral movement, and it won't scuff my center console.

Perhaps something like this mock-up
not a bad idea. I imagine Fido won’t be able to turn the knob so make it flush fit with the knob so it will still turn

id design it like this for printing.

Another design shared with me. I just modded the buttons cover a little. Just placed in picture to see how they would work.
