Got it, thanks! I wasn’t pulling the locking tabs back far enough.

I installed the Lariat glovebox in my XLT today. The leather looks really nice! Now I think I am going to do it around the instrument cluster. Looks like it is about $125 plus shipping.

After adding the passenger side upper glovebox on my XLT I wanted the leather trim on the driver's side too so I went ahead and ordered this since I was ordering some other parts.

Received and installed it this weekend and all went well except the teal clip in the top right corner somehow popped through the dash and disappeared into the abyss when I tried to fish it out with tweezers. I ended up having to take half the dash apart to find the clip and fish it out. Semi-fortunately this also gave me the excuse to install the LED for the perimeter plus alarm in the process, but turned what should have been a 20 minute job into a 2.5 hour ordeal... Highly recommend anyone else doing this be very careful with the clips!
