I received that trim piece yesterday. I checked it for damage real quick and can tell you it will be a little more involved than the passenger side. No clips are on it but I think the ones from the passenger dash can be repurposed. I'll try to post some pictures later.I installed the Lariat glovebox in my XLT today. The leather looks really nice! Now I think I am going to do it around the instrument cluster. Looks like it is about $125 plus shipping.

What’s the wire for? Here's the Lariat cluster trim piece. There are no clips so you'll need to transfer them from the one you removed. You'll also need to transfer the vent - looks like four clips.

I think that's part of the ambient light wiring. If it's not on the XLT piece, I'll probably remove it.What’s the wire for?
what is the part number for this?
Thank you sir
got it all out, how do you get the vent out?Installed the driver side Lariat trim yesterday. Not too bad of an install. The panel below the steering wheel pulls out. The small trim piece in the middle pulls out. The trim piece itself was not bad to pull off. Transfer your clips and the air vent. I removed the ambient lighting. Everything went back together easy. Color matching on part with the glovebox install.

There are 4 clips that hold it in. I used a small screwdriver to pop them loose. Two clips on each side.got it all out, how do you get the vent out?
