Anyone install the ford ranger console safe option ?

A lot of people who purchase the console safe do so to secure a firearm. Here is a Glock 19 (Medium size) laying perfectly flat inside, with some extra room. I tried to fit a Glock 20 (full size) and it would not fit.

I installed this safe yesterday. I'm assuming you mean is there room on top of the safe after you close the lid. I would estimate about an inch or so. I put a pair of work gloves on top and it closes no problem. The interior design of the lid gives you a little additional room the only negative I can see is you lose access to the charger in the console.

That is exactly what I was wondering, thank you. The Expedition safe leaves a lot more room but there is also a lot more room in that vehicle. That safe will work for me, going to order one, thank you.
