To be frank, I have a 2019 Ranger Lariat FX4 but have never been off-road with it and do not plan to. I will probably replace it with the Ranger Raptor when the time comes, but I have no plans to take one off-road either. I like to drive a vehicle that is ready for bad roads, bad weather, and...
I do not like the looks of it on the truck, but it does come in handy, usually when I am in the garage without the fob and want to get something out or put something in the truck. It saves a lot of trips back into the house to get the keys. So, for me, yeah, the convenience outweighs the ugliness...
This is my situation as well. I tuned my 2019 Lariat and did some other minor mods, leveling lift, tires, etc. I love my truck as it is now, and the 6G really is not enough of an improvement to justify trading up--until there is a Ranger Tremor with a 2.7 on my dealer's lot!
Hey, guys, I would also use mine for a powered cooler. My question is, does the cooler draw power even when the engine is turned off? Say we want to leave the cooler on while we go hiking for a few hours so we can return and have a cold one. Would it keep drawing significant power throughout the...
Good catch, buddy! Notice Ford's standard disclaimer in the ridiculously tiny print above and to the left of these images: "Digitally generated image shown. Actual vehicle may vary. See your dealer for details." So I agree with the comments that this is probably not significant as far as the...
Wow, beautiful truck, man, and exactly the colors I would choose. Is the ride as smooth on the road as the review says? It is much higher than the regular Ranger (my wife is four-foot-eleven, that is why I ask).
I will go for a Ranger PHEV if the ICE engine is the current 2.3 Liters or more so that it would be giving us more power, not less. I would also be very interested in a fully electric version, again, if it is a step up in power (along with all the other advantages).
Thanks for posting this. O.K., it is the British version, but close enough to what we will get to be useful anyway. I like that, in addition to all the off-road features covered, the reviewer talked about the Raptor as a "daily driver," which is what many of us will actually use it for...
I love the new 2024 Ranger Raptor, but it may be a bit more truck than I need. Will there be a 2024 Lariat Tremor with the 2.7 Liter Ecoboost engine? This would probably hit the sweet spot (between what I want and what I need)...
I am on the fence, too, but not in the same way. When the time comes, it will be the 2.7 or the 3.0, but probably the 2.7, which is what I voted for above. It all depends on what members and outside reviewers say about the suspension systems on the Raptor vs. the Tremor (if there is a Tremor)...
Happy to see that the 2.7 EB will be an option on the Lariat--you don't have to go all the way to the Raptor, which might be more truck than I need--to get more than 2.3. I really like the fold-down seats, as the wife and I keep a ton of sporting goods and junk in the back of the cabin. Of...
