  1. Let's see your bed Topper / Cap / Canopy - pros/cons

I also have only occasional need for a topper so I've been looking at the Flated option. But I'm concerned about theft of what's inside it, such as overnight in a hotel parking lot or at a campsite while I've gone for a day hike. Obviously a knife can get into it pretty easily, but is there any...
  2. Anyone have a source for rear fender liners?

Thanks. I did the same, but it seems like I'm getting either front wheel well liners or products for the F150.
  3. Thanks

Apologies if this will induce eye-rolls from some, but I just want to take a minute to say how much I appreciate this forum and the helpful engagement of those on it. I've owned my Ranger for 5 months and have found this group to be immensely helpful. So, thanks. :handshake:
  4. Anyone have a source for rear fender liners?

Also known as Splash Shield Liner, I believe. In some diagrams it looks like it might be 3 parts per side (the main piece that goes behind/above the wheel and separate pieces for front and back). I'm having trouble deciphering parts numbers that seem to match the diagram. I'd like to get a pair...
  5. Securing cargo ... anything highly recommended?

How do you like the Tmat? Seems like rocks and other debris would get caught in those holes. Cool concept, in any case.
  6. Camera for truckbed when rear view is blocked

That sounds really smart. I wonder if I could mount the camera inside an upper corner of the rear window, where it (might) see over a folded tonneau cover. Would you mind describing the installation? I.e. does it require taking apart trim, headliner, etc. and running wires? Thanks very much!
  7. Camera for truckbed when rear view is blocked

Anyone have ideas for how to get a camera view of your truck bed when the view out the rear window is blocked (such as by a folded up tonneau cover or by a tall load)? I'd like to be able to keep an eye on the bed contents as I drive. Bonus points if there is a related option for maintaining a...
  8. PIPE UP: AWE wants your input before we build Ranger exhausts

Thank you for asking for owner input! I wish more businesses would do the same. Sorry I missed the actual survey window. I have the 2.7l, and in my ideal world my exhaust would sound as close as possible to the Coyote V8 at startup/idle and under acceleration (deep, loping rumble), while...
  9. Anyone Know of Any Bug / Stone Guards for Hood that Go All Way Across?

In addition to protecting the front edge of the hood, some of these products are designed to push the airflow higher with the intent of reducing bugs and rocks hitting the windshield -- either with a hump that spans most of the deflector or a turned up lip at the rear of the deflector (like a...
  10. OK, she's here, what do I do to her first? (request for recommendations)

Do you have any photos or more details for #4? Thanks!
  11. Any issues with taking ranger through automatic car wash

What about bug/rock reflectors on the front edge of the hood? EGR recommends not taking their Superguard Bug Shield through an automatic car wash. Might just be for liability, but the thought of the possible damage of one getting ripped off in a car wash makes me hesitant to get a deflector. I...
  12. Ford swingout toolbox - opinions from owners

Thank you; that's helpful. One more question. Do these boxes intrude into the bed space more than the wheel wells? For example, if you needed to carry a tall stack of 4x8 sheets and you had a swing box on each side, would you have to remove them? Hard to tell from photos. Thanks again
  13. Covering the painted inside lip of wheel arches

Thanks for the idea, @purdyd. I do like the look of the painted arches, but yeah I may end up putting the black plastic ones on. I wonder if a bed liner material would work on that inner lip.
  14. Rock guard in front of rear wheels, what are my options? RIP my paint.

I can confirm what Lion77 is saying does indeed happen. My brother-in-law experienced this in spades with his Expedition. It got to the point that after a good rain storm you could hear the water sloshing around in the doors. No bueno.
  15. Covering the painted inside lip of wheel arches

All the way around the arch? I would think that mud flaps would only cover the rear third (ish). The painted lip goes all the way around the arch. Thanks
  16. Covering the painted inside lip of wheel arches

On my 25 Ranger Lariat with the black package, the wheel arches have a painted lip that wraps into the wheel well a couple inches -- all the way around the arch, not just at the rear as circled in the photo. I'd like to cover that inside strip with something black and something that will protect...
  17. Ford swingout toolbox - opinions from owners

3 questions about these swing-out boxes: 1) Are they easily/quickly removable if you temporarily need the bed space? 2) Does it seem like they'd be pretty theft resistant (both the contents and the cases themselves)? 3) Can you still easily use the tie-down point for ratchet straps in the bed...
