Ford Ranger Covering the painted inside lip of wheel arches Inside fender

On my 25 Ranger Lariat with the black package, the wheel arches have a painted lip that wraps into the wheel well a couple inches -- all the way around the arch, not just at the rear as circled in the photo. I'd like to cover that inside strip with something black and something that will protect that painted surface from the inevitable rock chips. Any ideas? Thanks!

All aftermarket mud flaps cover that. The $40 ones on Amazon are surprisingly good.

There is already clear PPF applied (wrapped around from the fenders and painted wheel arches) which may help with the rock chips, but I'd still like to make it black. Any ideas? Thanks!
All the way around the arch? I would think that mud flaps would only cover the rear third (ish). The painted lip goes all the way around the arch. Thanks

Obviously, the mud flaps do not go all the way around.

Isn’t that inside wheel arch painted plastic?

maybe just mask it off and paint it when it starts to look bad

maybe get the non black out package black ones? I wonder How hard it would be to change?

Thanks for the idea, @purdyd. I do like the look of the painted arches, but yeah I may end up putting the black plastic ones on.
I wonder if a bed liner material would work on that inner lip.
