I couldn’t agree more. The 2.7 makes way more sense for the US market. Better acceleration, similar torque, no DEF etc.
If/when we see this truck here that’s how I’m hoping it’s equipped. Slotted somewhere between an XLT and the Lariat pricewise. And hopefully with a push button start. So...
And if it fits the 2.3, does the 2.7 use a different tank? 🤔

The fact they now have a poly tank for the 2.3 is pretty fascinating. Albeit for the hybrid, but I’m pretty sure it’s the same 2.3 MPC motor we get in North America.

Looks like the Ford compatible version isn't available to ship to the USA. Going to have to see what else is available to do the same thing. I did not know this was a thing until this thread and now I'm intrigued...🤔
