On the configurator my RR build comes to $58,055. The only options I selected were the spray-in bed liner and the red paint. My Lariat FX4 build with the 2.7L V6 comes in at $54,230 with what I consider to be the essential options (plus that red paint again), or $54,990 with a couple of...
Cactus Grey is a nice color, easy on the eyes. I considered it, but found myself repeatedly drawn the Hot Pepper Red Metallic. Since I haven't ordered yet, it's still up in the air. I do like the blue too.
Ah, ok. I'm wrong. You can still flash high beam at someone on the GM trucks using the stalk on the left. But you still have to go to the infotainment screen to turn off/on/auto.
So not as bad as I thought, but still not great.
No, sadly. All of the headlight controls for the 2023 and newer midsize GM trucks is in the Infotainment screen. There are no manual controls for headlights, no stalks or buttons. You can turn them on and off or set them to auto or select high or low beam in the Infotainment screen only. I...
PPF is a $350 option for the Ranger. It says to see dealer for details, so I guess this is a dealer-installed option. Does anyone know what kind of film is applied, and exactly what parts it covers?
The lack of a manual high beam switch on the 2023 and 2024 Colorado and Canyon really turned me off. I can't imagine having to use the infotainment screen to turn on/off my high beams. Seems unsafe.
That's good to know, thanks.
I found a picture of it in the online 2024 Ranger manual. On the other hand, the manual also has a section on how to operate the moonroof. It does say "if equipped", but since a moonroof is not an option for 2024, it made me question whether the manual could be...
Is there a manual high beam headlight switch? It looks like the stalk on the left side of the steering wheel might be the high beam switch. Push out for high, pull in for low beam.
I've watched many youtube reviews of the 2024 Ranger, but I don't recall anyone mentioning it.
I really like...
The push button start is important to some people, and there's nothing wrong with that. I could deal with a key if I had to. I do for three of my vehicles. But I much prefer the push button start on my other two vehicles.
For me that was one of several differences between the XLT and the...
Hi, my first post here.
I haven't owned a truck in a long time. About a year ago I found I had a need for one again, so I started looking around. I wasn't completely satisfied with the available choices, so I decided to wait and see if the Ford Ranger would be more appealing to me. It turns...
