This is what I changed using Forscan: IPC 720-03-02 is xxx7 xxxx xxxx, which is Welcome/Goodbye disabled. So far, I have not experienced the loss of the presets. However, I have not driven my truck that much so time will still tell.
So just an update, So far, since I disabled the "Built Ford Tough" startup screen, I have not lost my setting on MyView. However, I am not saying that it fixed it yet because it is still too early to know for sure. You guys know how it is. It can be fine for a week then without any warning...
It seems like this is a well documented thing with the myView. On a different thread, Specularius stated that his 26 Raptor did not have the Ford Built Tough splash screen activated from the factory. Another member with a 26 also stated the same. I wonder if it was turned off as it is...
I wonder if that is what is causing the myView settings to lose memory what I have it set to. I think I am going to disable what you had disabled and see if that keeps my cluster from defaulting to the trip gauges. I am getting sick of resetting them.
I just checked mine and it still works. None of the Forscan changes I made to the BCM were erased after the update. Strange. Maybe, they didn't actually do the update and just said they did. All the recalls are now gone showing everything is completed.
Is there any setting that can make the radio volume the same as satellite volume. There is such a big difference in my vehicle. I have never seen a vehicle with that big of a difference. Is there a setting in Forscan that can change this?
I have not physically seen it but I got my truck back on Tuesday afternoon after dropping it off Monday morning. I don't think they touched it on Monday. Anyways, I had all four recalls done. Other than a solvent type of smell, you can't even tell they did anything with the headliner for the Air...
I have also thought this a few times but it is random for me and I wasn't sure. Good information from jburl2. I am going to take mine in to Ford soon for all of the recalls (4 of them). Maybe, I will reflash back to stock 1st and see what that does.
All I can say it that I keep my truck on a trickle charger so I don't think it is a battery or power thing. It looks as if F150 Raptors have had this problem since early 2021. I am thinking software bug. Being it is 2026 and the problem has been around since 2021 on the F150 Raptor, I won't hold...
That is an interesting thought. I take it that you have not experienced the resetting of the my views. I wonder if anyone on here has had the reset without the start / stop eliminator.
Maybe but my last OTA update was April 27th. It has done it several times recently. I have only had 3 OTA updates since I purchased the vehicle last year on May 8th. It probably has lost setting about 100 times since.
I hate to bring back up an older thread but, since I had the OTA for the Sync update, now my view is back to resetting to the default screen. This happend yesterday 3 times. Really starting to get tired of it. Such a little annoyance. I can't understand why this can't be addressed. Is anyone...
