Ranger Raptor- Steering Feel Adjustment

So I got in the truck this AM and hit the lane centering button. That activated it, I think. Then hit it again and it was off. I'm going for a drive in a few minutes and I'm going ti let the truck wander and see what happens.

I would like to revive this thread. I have my 2025 RR for over a year and generally like almost everything about it except the steering feel. I'm not sure if I just got a "tight" one, but I almost want to go back to a Bronco because even in comfort mode it is like sports car level steering resistance. A lighter feel would make it so much more fun to drive in regular situations. I am desperately hoping someone has cracked the code on this somehow. FORSCAN tool? Anything?

Same. It bugged me at first, but at this point it just feels 'correct' for a truck like this. I drive around in Sport steering 100% of the time now, haha.

At 10k mine still feels the same. Too stiff. I'm used to it now, but when I drive something else and get back in the RR I really notice it again.

Just a thought, I know in my 2025 Ranger Raptor, If you run it in 4A instead of 2 wheel mode, at least in mine, the steering feels heavy.

I agree it's firm, even in comfort, but it improved when I went to a more road-friendly tire.

I had a '23 Bronco Wildtrack with the bigger 35s and loved the steering on that. The feel in the RR is really about the power steering assist. It is a shame you can't adjust this since it's alredy something that can be set/changed. Almost hard to believe they wouldn't at least let this be editable with FORSCAN.

I never noticed it feeling stiff when I test drive any ranger raptors. I did notice it on the Nissan frontiers though. Even my sin complained about how stiff it is in those.


I think my regular ranger has very little resistance for the steering so maybe I am just not remebering the rr correctly.
