I found this to be strange on todays modern vehicle. I was installing my 1-1/2" leveling kit and when I was torquing the tie rod end the steering knuckle just turned to the other side. I got into the truck and sure enough I can turn the steering wheel end to end with no key fob in sight. Is my steering lock malfunctioning or is every truck like this? Pair this with the park release strap located in the center console under the "trap door" and it would be easy to put this truck into neutral and just push it away. I find that disturbing.
