A few days ago I posted about not being able to get my backup assist to calibrate.

Today I placed a second sticker on the opposite side of the jack forward of the original sticker. That was the fix. It hooked up first try.

One other thing I figured out was to follow the on screen directions exactly. Especcially in the turns. Hold the turn until the screen no longer says calibrating. It may bring you to a 180% turn.

It's pretty cool and fun to play with but a word of caution. When you are backing up in conditions such as heavy rain it will disconnect

and the trailer will do whatever it wants. Found that out almost the hard way.

Good to know about the second sticker. Thanks for the update. I will try that.

Is it the location of the second one, or the fact there are now two stickers?

My guess is that the first sticker was getting a blind spot by the jack, or the refection on the jack was freaking the camera out. Two stickers may be more stable for camera recognition.

I tried to use that feature for the first time over the weekend and gave up on the calibration. Although I rarely tow, thankfully it’s not difficult for me.
I’ll have to try your sticker method and find a large area to run the calibration routine.
