Mine had a thumping noise that turned out to be the back seat wasn't latched. I have to really slam it to get it to latch. It was exactly what you are describing.

Ok. I have a Tackform mount (which is awesome) for my radar detector and my Auxbeam control panel. I need to run the wires up to the Tackform. I'm OCD about wires showing so I'm looking for s clean route. I found a path to the center speaker enclosure but I need to get to the tacform from there...

There are two screws holding this in place. I need to temporarily remove it but I'm not sure if its holding anything else under it. Have removed screws before only to have other parts move out of place. Thanks for your help.

What do they take apart to do the recall? If they drop the headliner I’ll need to take my dash cam and wires out. I would like to wire the camera to the mirror but haven’t quite figured that out yet.

That's kind of what I thought it was. I didn't even know the bottom vents were there. Makes sense though, cool air from the bottom goes in and warm air out the top. Ford had a good idea on that.

I have a Tackform to install in my XLT and I'm wondering what this "vent" is just above the infotainment screen. I need to figure out a path for wiring and that might work. Or not. Any ideas what it's for? Thanks.

It's your call. I skipped the Ford liner and had an after market spray in liner installed the day after I got the truck. It took a couple of hours and cost less money.

This was back in 2018 so probably not the gen 3. The leaks I expected but the heat was concerning. I really could not put anything in the bed that might be heat sensitive.

It seems Ford is not too worried about it. They don't intend to send letters out until late December.
