Dang. I am not really one for the cold but the experience made it worth it. Our buddy in his Bronco was the first one up the hill. I wish we would have recorded it but we were too busy freezing haha. You have to do it while you can.
Going up to Oregon is definitely on the list. I think we are going to plan a trip to Arizona first though. I would recommend spending a couple days exploring Yosemite and Sequoia. They are truly beautiful.
It was definitely a good experience. We spent about 4 hours on Friday clearing trees that had fallen blocking the road. I want to say it was about ~10 trees. Unfortunately, we did not bring an axe or a chainsaw but one of us brought a hatchet...
Oh yes. Sequoia has become my favorite area in CA. We are going to start planning a trip down south so we will see what is going on down there in the desert.
A couple buddies and I took the Friday off of work for a weekend trip up to Sequoia. We started planning it a couple weeks ago and noticed the forecast did start to call for some rain and a little bit of snow... Initially we did not expect to receive much since we were only going to be camping...
Thank you. The wheels are from Relations Race Wheels, lift is Eibach, and UCA are Superpro. I only have about a 2" lift right now. Hope this helps.

Thanks! I will add it to the collection.
It is a Softopper. My brother had one initially on his Tacoma and it has been pretty solid so I decided to go for it. I haven't had any issues with it at all.
Yes, I think next time we will plan a couple more days. This was just a quick weekend trip so we didn't get to do much.
We need to focus on some cold weather stuff. Our small coleman grill was not cutting it in the 30 degree weather and I guess my MTE vans are not up for the challenge. As far...
It was a beautiful place but I think I would take Sequoia over it. Sequoia seems like there are way less people on the main roads and even fewer on the trails. I do want to see what is past the main loop in Yosemite. Maybe it clears up once you're past there or you have to explore the offshoots...
My brother and I did a couple day trip up to Yosemite. It was our first time and the sites were amazing but it was more touristy than I would have wanted. I also need to mention we pretty much only hit the main loop so perhaps that is our fault for not going in further. It was around 60-70s...
I’ve done a couple changes to the ranger over the past couple of weeks. First was the softopper which was pretty easy to install. I would recommend installing it when it’s warm so the material is more malleable. Second I installed my American Adventure Lab passenger molle panel. I guess Ford...
I just got the tracking number for my order. A couple buddies and I are planning a trip late August so I should be able to get it installed by then.
On another note, I just installed a softopper. It looks pretty good and was really easy to install. I would recommend installing when it is warm...
Thank fully, yes. The guy I spoke with was super understanding and helpful, so they gave me the discount.
I did ask them about the UCAs. They did not test UCAs or verify the alignment when they were testing the lift kit, but they would recommend going with a set of aftermarket ones if you are...
I tried again earlier but they were already closed. Teh website says they close at 4pm for customer service. I will call again tomorrow and see if I can get someone good on the phone.
I also wanted to ask them if they recommended new UCAs and if so, which ones. I have seen 2 billet UCAs on the...
Who are you talking to over there? I just called trying to order it and they told me they don’t have anything for sale and are still looking for vehicles for development…
