And we are still waiting.... Makes me question ever buying a new ford vehicle that I plan on modifying. A nice bumpside or 80-90s bronco/f150 sounds pretty sweet right about now.
Yes, I made the bracket. I was originally going to purchase one, but I had some metal laying around and it was a week before my trip. Plus, the bracket from Australia wasn't going to get delivered in time.
Yes, that is correct. For carplay it is one of the apps you can select from. So you can turn it on from your phone, the infotainment system, or manually on the unit. I have taken it to Joshua Tree and Jawbone so far and have no complaints.
I would love to head up to Canada and spend some time in the mountains. I have seen a couple videos from The Story Till Now and a few others about the fire watch towers being open to the public. One day.
Of course. Yes, there were only a couple people we saw. A group of toyotas did pass by in the AM on Saturday while we were eating breakfast and a rivian as well.
I visited Joshua Tree for the first time over the weekend, more specifically we took a trip down Old Dale Road. It was exactly as I expected it to be....deserty with a hint of rocks.
You can run through the trail really fast but if you want to hop off and take a look at the "mines" then it...
The reason I went with the Garmin PowerSwitch is because I didn't want to run any additional wiring into the cab and did not want to have any manual switches. The PowerSwitch uses an app to control it so there was no need to run a wire into the dash. It is all controlled through the app or right...
I was thinking about mounting a set of BD S1 or S2's in the bed/bumper for additional reverse lighting as well as zone lighting for the camp site. I also saw people using a set of diode dynamics as fog lights so.
That most likely won't be until down the road as I want to focus on a lift and...
I purchased a set of BD Squadron Pros back in December and finally decided to pick out some ditch light brackets to install them. I found a set on Amazon that was fairly cheap so I thought I would give them a try. I saw SDHQ which advertised American Made so I wanted to see a comparison...
Thank you. It was a relatively tame trip so we didn't have much to compare. My brother also has a 2" lift, bilstein shocks in the front and rear, and higher rated leaf springs that allow more flex. His is also manual which I feel is better when it comes to engine braking and controlling 4L...
I could fit a piece of plywood in the back so I don't really have complaints on the size of the bed. I was almost bottoming out when I loaded the bed with a bunch of camping supplies for a trip I took to Sequoia with the family so I think a higher rated leaf spring in the future would be beneficial.
I took my ranger on a day trip with my brother and his tacoma. Jawbone was a little smoothed out compared to how it was when we previously ran the trail, never-the-less it was still a good run. It did get a little snowy once we got into Sequoia, but the stock tires didn't have any issues.
The...
