It has been about 1 month since I have taken home my 2.7 V6 2025 Ford Ranger XLT FX4 w/Blackout Package.
Pros -
1. This truck really moves out on the highway. Has a lot more power beyond 55.
2. Found out it has directional lighting depending on the steering direction.
3. The seats are super comfy! Plenty of elbow room!
4. I like the wheels on the blackout package.
5. Love the 12 inch display
6. Head turner (especially for the Tacoma drivers)
7. Climbs hills like a mountain goat
Cons -
1. Key - has taken me several weeks to get used to a key again.
The joy and freedom of a push button lost.
2. 10 Speed at lower speeds. Rolling around the neighborhood can be herky-jerky. Can't seem to unwind at the lower speeds.
3. Still plugging holes in the bed for better water proofing. I may add a tailgate seal and the front of the bed has several built in holes I need to address.
4. I have a bad habit of leaving my cell phone on the charger when I exit the vehicle. First world issues.
So far, the pros outweigh the cons and I have been enjoying it.
Probably next on deck is to exercise the FX4 capabilities.
